G-Fest is the largest regular gathering of Godzilla and Japanese monster fans in the world. Held each summer, G-Fest typically attracts about 1000 or more attendees. G-Fest is a family-oriented convention which caters to a wide variety of interests within the kaiju genre. G-FEST features presentations and Q & A sessions by actors and crew from the Japanese Godzilla and Gamera series, fans presentations on topics of interest, contests and gaming, new and classic kaiju movies, the western world's largest kaiju-oriented dealers room, and lots of fun!

G-Fest XVII or G-Fest`2010 will be held from July 9th through July 11th 2010 at the Rosemont Hotel at O’Hare, 5550 North River Road, Rosemont, IL, right across the street from the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center (in fact, the two are connected by an enclosed walkway, the location is just down the street from last year’s venue, the Crowne Plaza). This year's special guest will be Godzilla Showa series actor Akira Takarada. Other guests and films for this convention have yet to be announced.

Also... The double double feature is coming back by popular demand! If you can’t get enough big screen kaiju action, G-FEST is once again sponsoring a one day mini film festival at the Pickwick Theater. Four movies (two double bills) will be shown on Thursday, July 8th, 2010, one pair in the afternoon and one pair in the evening (This is in addition to our regular Friday and Saturday night features). Films are expected to be confirmed and announced very shortly, stay tuned!

Check back soon for more updates to this future convention!
