| First discovered on Mondo Island in 1967, Gorosaurus had a brief confrontation with King Kong, after he tried to devour Lt. Susan Watson, part of a UN submarine crew. Gorosaurus and Kong fought a fierce battle, ending with the giant ape breaking the mutated dinosaur’s jaw and seemingly killing him. However, Gorosaurus later turned up as one of the ten kaiju incarcerated on Ogasawara Island. Once the alien Kilaaks took control of the kaiju, Gorosaurus was sent to Paris and laid waste to the French city. But after the Kilaaks lost control of the monsters thanks to the crew of the Moonlight SY-3, Gorosaurus took an active role in the final battle against King Ghidorah at Mount Fuji, using his kangaroo kick to take down the space monster once and for all. After the battle, Gorosaurus, along with the other nine kaiju, returned to Ogasawara Island, where he remains to this day. | |
