Welcome to Ogasawara Island, or Monsterland as it has come to be known
By the end of the year 1999, this Island will inhabit wild kaiju who have repeatedly attacked Japan and have been considered menaces to Humanity. The schedule for 1999 is to try and capture up to 10 kaiju that have been seen around this area. So far we have captured, or lured all 10 of
them here, but some of them are able to break free and will have to be recaptured at a later time. The Ogasawara Islands have been seperated into many different sections according to the monsters instincts and natural habitats, but so far only the Main Island inhabits kaiju. Some kaiju can be grouped together and seem to get along just fine. There is food and abundence on all of the Ogasawaran Islands, and the monsters are free to
eat as much of it as they please.
The biggest section of the Main Island is inhabited, normally by 3 kaiju, but sometimes up to 5 with the magnetic wall that prevents the flying kaiju from escaping being over the section. Anyway, this area normally contains the monsters Godzilla, Godzilla Junior, and Anguirus. Although Godzilla and Anguirus can escape, they seem to like this section of the Island and call it their home. Rodan and Varan normally inhabit the cliffs of the Main Island. Rodan's favorite roosting spot seems to be
right over the area in which Anguirus sleeps. Varan seems to prefur the very top of the mountain. Gorosaurus and Mothra inhabit the same area in a different section of the Island and get along just fine. Baragon and Manda also share their own area on the Island and someday we hope we can bring Mothra and Gorosaurus's section together with Baragon and Manda's Section to make more room on the Main Island for newcomers. The 10th kaiju the inhabits the Main Island is Kumonga, the scientists like to keep Kumonga separated from the rest of the kaiju because his large appetite always gets the best of him and he tries to go after the other kaiju and usually ends up loosing a limb or 4. Kumonga has not gone near Godzilla at all since his arrival on the Island. We guess Kumonga remembers the damage that Godzilla did to him back in 1967.
Among the most dangerous kaiju on the Island are Anguirus and Godzilla. We have, so far, found no way to completely hold those 2 kaiju here, for they have escaped many times. Anguirus has the ability to tunnel underground, and while we have 2 other burrowing kaiju, Baragon and Gorosaurus, Anguirus seems to be immune to the toxic gas sprays that we
have planted in the ground up to 1 mile below the surface and tunnels freely to and from the Island. As for Godzilla, he seems to be affected by the poison gas on land once and a while, but often he just walks right past the gas with no effect at all. Godzilla and Anguirus always return to the Island though and we are still trying to develope ways to contain them.
The Scientists on Ogasawara Island are constantly working on ways to capture the remaining kaiju on the Earth. King Kong, altough he hasn't left Faro Island since he and Godzilla fought nearly 40 years ago, is still considered a threat to the world and the U.N.G.C.C. has recreated Mechani
Kong to try and capture the original Kong and bring him to one of the Ogasawara Islands. There is still no idea on how to capture Biollante from the Earth's Orbit, some of the scientists think that we should just let Biollante be until she begins to cause trouble again. The U.N.G.C.C. is still searching for Battra and Ebirah, they don't even know if either of them are alive or not after Godzilla nearly killed Ebirah and killed Battra, but there could still be another Larva out there. Kamakiras is being lured to the Secondary Island as we speak by the Moonlight SY-3
space-rocket and Titanosaurus is being forced toward the Islands by a fleet of submarines sending out Super Sonic waves.
It has not been decided yet whether or not to capture Gamera and keep him on the Ogasawara Islands because he has saved the Earth many times from kaiju such as Barugon, Gyaos, Legion, and most recently Irys. After finally stopping the underground nuclear tests near Seatopiar, the U.N.G.C.C. now finally has the chance to negotiate with the Seatopians about allowing their protector Megalon to be encarsurated on Ogasawara's 3rd Island. Also, the U.N.G.C.C. has been speaking with the decendants of the Azumi Royal Family about letting their protector King Caesar be brought to the Islands. Hopefully we can negotiate with these people and aventually have all the Earth's Monsters living on the Ogasawara Islands so the world can live in peace.
