| Megalon, the guardian of the underground kingdom of Seatopia, was sent to the surface world to avenge the destruction of one third of Seatopia by nuclear testing. Megalon, led by the robot Jet Jaguar, destroyed everything in his path as he rampaged across Japan, defeating the JSDF and even destroying parts of Tokyo. However, when Goro Ibuki, Jet Jaguar’s inventor, regained control of his robot and sent him to get Godzilla on Ogasawara Island, Megalon went berserk, hopping around with no sense of direction. When Jet Jaguar returned from retrieving Godzilla, he programmed himself to grow to 50 meters and attacked Megalon. The Guardian of Seatopia retaliated against the robotic kaiju and with the help of Gigan, nearly destroyed the robotic kaiju. However, Godzilla soon arrived on the scene and together with Jet Jaguar, were able to force both Megalon and Gigan to retreat and the deity kaiju tunneled his way back to Seatopia. | |
