| Minilla, a strange little mutated dinosaur, was hatched and adopted by the King of the Monsters on Sogellel Island in 1967. The Kamakiras on the island uncovered Minilla's egg, broke it open, and began attacking the pudgy little kaiju. Godzilla soon arrived on the scene and took out two of the three Kamakiras, before seemingly adopted Minilla as his son. Later, both Godzilla and Minilla battled Kumonga, a giant spider on the island. Kumonga was a tough opponent, but Godzilla and Minilla were finally able to defeat him before they were forced to go into a one year hibernation due to the scientist's climate-control machine. During this time, they were captured and became incarcerated on Ogasawara Island. Minilla didn't take part in the destruction of the cities once the Kilaaks took control of the kaiju (that we know of) or the final battle for that matter, but he did use one of his radioactive smoke rings to asphyxiate King Ghidorah's middle head once he was taken down by Godzilla, Gorosaurus, and Anguirus. After the final battle, Minilla returned with the other kaiju to Ogasawara Island, and has remained there ever since. Only once appearing briefly in the dream of a young Japanese boy named Ichiro and fighting the monster Gabara. | |
