Mini Biography
Born on January 2, 1926, Eisei Amamoto appeared in many Japanese sci-fi films and television series throughout his career. His career started out playing several small roles in the 1950s and 1960s before Toho began to give him large roles. He is best known for his roles as Dr. Who in King Kong Escapes, Shinpei Inami the toy maker in Godzilla's Revenge, and more recently as Isayama the Prophet in Godzilla, Mothra King Ghidorah: All Kaiju Attack. He also appeared on the popular Japanese TV series, Kamen Rider, as Doctor Shinugami. Mr. Amamoto passed away on March 23, 2003 of pnemonia, was 77 years old and he will be missed.
