The 2001 version of Baragon, used in the film “GMK: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack”, was very true to its original incarnation. Looking basically like he did back in 1965, Baragon still sported his big floppy ears, nasal horn (that no longer glowed), pudgy face, and ridged back. However, this time the teeth were more prominent and jagged than before, the grinning expression was gone, the eyes are smaller and meaner looking, the claws were longer, and the tail was shorter. Also, the skin color is more reddish. For this film, the Baragon suit actor, Rei Ota, avoided the original “hands and knees” approach to acting out Baragon, making him appear a bit more realistic.
