Godzilla vs. Chimera II: Second Coming

Everyone that was there in 2006 remembered the great and terrible four way battle that took place between Godzilla, Mothra, Mechagodzilla 4, and Chimera. Everyone thought that when Godzilla and Mothra blasted Bioghidorah (Chimeras final mutation) with their beams everyone thought it would be the end of the genetic horror, or so they thought. Little did they know that one of Bioghiodrahs heads survived the explosion and began regenerating itself deep in outer space. As Bioghidorah regenerated and mutated in outer space it plotted revenge against the two beings that destroyed it Godzilla and Mothra and forced it to live its existence in deep space, the feeling of being blasted by cosmic radiation and being hit with Gamma rays from countless Galaxies as he floated through them was painful but over time it mutated him and made him more powerful. His new wings were made out of green membranes with a thick coating of red Crystal. His right head that was blasted off by Godzilla was now made out of fire His left head was a dark black and had green eyes, and his middle head stayed the same. His body had changed too it was covered with the same green skin and it had the same red crystal covering it, but it had spines and tentacles sticking out of it. While these mutations helped to stabilize its DNA it also left Bioghidorah with a side effect, its power was far greater than its previous forms, but it sense of reasoning and its sanity had been destroyed and it now only felt rage and a desire to annihilate any planet or object that stood in its way. A disturbing ability that BioGhidorah had gained as a result of the cosmic radiation was the ability to absorb the essence of all living things on a planet increasing his power with the absorbed essence and leaving the planet a desolate lifeless wasteland. Bioghidorah was flying towards earth. He knew since earth had very many plants and animals it would make him exceptionally powerful but in order to achieve this dream he had to eliminate Godzilla and Mothra the two monsters that were responsible for defeating him. He had complete control over the crystalline meteors that were near him and he sent them to the earth hoping that one of them will land on Earth intact and help him find his way to earth and unleash his first phase of his diabolical plot
It was the year 2009 and since Chimera was defeated Earth enjoyed a long and lasting peace. Advances were made in science and technology and the discovery of crystalline comets created excitement among the science community. It became even more exciting when astronomers noted that the comets where heading towards earths atmosphere. All of the Earths astronomers watched as the crystalline comets burned up in the atmosphere but one did not and it crashed into a remote area of southern Japan. Unbeknownst to the people of Japan this unburned comet was a sign of the great horror that was about to befall the planet. General Nakajima the successor to General Hoso who retired after the failed Chimera project four years ago was forseeing the study of the mysterious Comet. By his elite team of scientists and researchers “what have you figured out so far” he asked “well the crystal is not from earth but we discovered it is sending a radio signal” said the head scientist. To what or where we don’t know but the crystal on it does not match the Space Godzilla crystals we have on file. Little did the scientists and General Nakajima know that the comet held a much darker secret.
Bioghidorah began receiving the radio signal from the one comet that survived and began his trek toward earth, however before he arrived he decided to unleash the secret in the comet and with that sinister thought in mind he used his psychic powers to make the comet hatch
Suddenly a shimmering red and green light overtook the comet and the scientists in charge rushed to get General Nakajima. By the time they arrived the comet was gone what stood in its place made them cringe. An army of crystalline insects began crawling out of the remains of the comet destroying anything that stood in their way. These grotesque insects were the result of Bioghidorah releasing its unstable cells during its mutation. What in the hell are those? asked Nakajima We don’t know but we don’t want to stick around to find out said the scientists. The insects ravaged through out the science labs killing all the scientists and the soldiers that were sent to kill them it wasn’t long before the insects escaped and ravaged Tokyo. Luckily the General and the head scientist Professor Fuji managed to escape the slaughter and began a long drive to JSDF headquarters
Godzilla was in the Sea of Japan regenerating it wounds after his battle between Chimera and Mechagodzilla 4. He remembered that horrible battle and he knew if it wasn’t for him and Mothra then the earth would be under Bioghidorahs wicked rule. He had healed most of his injuries and the few injuries he had left were also beginning to heal. He slowly began swimming towards the Japanese mainland he was hungry and needed to keep his nuclear energy up. As he was swimming he sensed something sinister was happening he had this feeling once before and He only knew it could mean one thing. With that grave thought in mind Godzilla picked up speed and began swimming as fast as he could towards Japan. However Godzilla was not the only one that sensed something was wrong.
High up in the earths atmosphere Biollante could also sense the presence of the crystalline creatures she decided to fly down there to investigate. She remembered her battles with Godzilla and considered her final defeat a fluke and in her twisted demonic mind she was to be the one to eliminate The king of the monsters. She began to fly down to plant her self in the ground and grow to her true form.
At the island of Bermuda a mysterious turtle like creature was seen flying out of the nearby underwater ruins. These ruins were thought to be the location of Atlantis but this was not confirmed and the Bermudan residents were left in dumbfounded awe as the turtle monster rose out of the water and flew towards Tokyo.
Meanwhile on Birth Island Mothra and her shobjin worshippers Mona and Laura could hear the screams of humanity ring out in horror as thousands of citizens were being slaughtered by the crystalline insects. They could sense all the monsters that were heading to Tokyo to fight the invaders. They could also sense Biollante “Godzilla’s sister” descending to possibly help the invaders. Mothra however was not in any shape to battle. She had just laid an egg and still sported the gruesome hole in her wing from her last confrontation with Bioghidorah. “What are we going to do?” “How can we defeat such power? Laura said as she trembled in fear. “These are not the real invaders” said Moll.” “What do you mean?” “These are decoys I’m sensing a terrible power heading towards earth and only one monster has a power like this”. “No you don’t mean?”, “Yes Bioghidorah has returned”.
Back in Tokyo General Nakajima and his staff were very troubled but confident that they had the situation under control. Are the tanks ready? Yes General they are at the beach like you ordered sir excellent Nakajima knew that Godzilla would arrive in Tokyo and he did not have to wait long.
Godzilla had finally arrived on the mainland angry and with a desire for nuclear power the unfortunate tank crews that were sent could not stop him and they were easily eliminated Godzilla continued on his way when he heard a series of shrieks. It was the crystalline insects and they immediately began there attack firing eye beams and using their incredible speed to damage Godzilla in an attempt to weaken him for their master. Godzilla was unfazed and fired his heat ray killing dozens of the insects but more would come like a plague of locusts and eventually they had him overwhelmed and began drilling into him with the crystals on their backs. Godzilla endured the horrible pain and gathered enough energy and unleashed a nuclear pulse that killed all the insects Godzilla felt satisfied that he killed these inferior creatures. Godzilla enjoyed the pain and suffering he inflicted and he began to trudge onward towards the nuclear power plant outside of Tokyo. But then he heard a roar, a roar that was familiar yet haunting and what came down from the heavens made him cringe in fear.
“Sir You better take a look at what’s on the videoscreen”. Nakajima had to only take one look at the video screen to see the site before him.” So he’s still alive. I want all military to back off and do not engage this monster”. He knew all too well the mistake that his predecessor General Hoso made of sending in hundreds of planes and tanks to be slaughtered by this juggernaut and he wished not to repeat that same mistake.
Bioghidroah had finally arrived and at a fearsome 800ft tall this monster was the living embodiment of terror. Bioghidorah wasted no time and unleashed a multicolored gravity beam at Godzilla. The beam scored a direct hit and knocked Godzilla down. Bioghidorah noted the absence of his insect minions but he did not care they had done their job they had softened up Godzilla and humanity’s defenses for him. Bioghidorah turned his attention to Godzilla and grinned a sinister 3 headed toothy smirk as he sent some of his tentacles at Godzilla. Godzilla dodged them and fired a heat ray at Bioghidorah but it only bounced off the crystal coating covering Bioghidorah. Bioghidorah felt the hit and even though it left no damage he was impressed at how strong Godzilla had become. Bioghidorah fired his tentacles again but this time he wasn’t aiming for Godzilla he was aiming for the ground. He scored a direct hit and began absorbing earths Lifeforce. Godzilla wasn’t affected but he noticed the plants withering and the animals growing weaker. He knew that Bioghidorah had to be stopped and fired a spiral ray scoring another hit on the crystal and shattering it. Bioghidorah shrieked in pain but ignored the pain and fired another beam at Godzilla. This was no ordinary gravity beam, this gravity beam was the result of it being supercharged by the essence of Earth and the damage it left was horrendous. Godzilla managed to get back up but the beam left severe burns on his chest and face. Godzilla was about to fire a spiral ray when golden colored spores began to rain down on the ground.
“General Nakajima sir it looks like Biollante has decided to join us. What? Are you sure its Biollante? Yes and it looks like she planting herself to the ground. The general still could not believe it and he did not have to wait long for his suspicions to be confirmed.
Biollante finally arrived on the scene and it immediately went for Godzilla with her tendrils. Godzilla dodged them and fired a heat ray but when the beam hit Biollante it seemed to make the mutant plant stronger. Biollante fired her radioactive sap scoring a direct hit and adding new injuries to the ones Godzilla already suffered. Bioghidroah could not believe the sight he was seeing but he realized this creature had the same hatred for Godzilla and could help him eliminate the king of monsters. Bioghidorah began to communicate telepathically to Biollante at first she did not want to have anything to do with him but eventually she realized the benefits of joining forces and happily agreed to help Bioghidorah take out Godzilla. The two monsters then proceeded to double team Godzilla. Godzilla was immediately overwhelmed by the two monsters as Biollante wrapped his legs in vines and forced him to the ground. BioGhidorah took advantage and fired a second gravity beam scoring another direct hit on Godzilla. Godzilla never felt pain like this but he knew that if he were to lose then the earth would be under the rule of these two terrible tyrants. Godzilla managed to muster the last of his energy firing a heat ray that freed him from the vines and scoring a direct hit on Biollante. The mutant plant wailed in pain and energy began to course down her. Bioghidorah decided to intervene and used his telekinetic powers to hold Godzilla in place. Biollante wasted no time and fired more radioactive sap. The sap added more damage to Godzillas already bloodied and battered body. Godzilla needed to find a way out of this situation before he was killed by the two Tyrants. Biollante wanted to have some more fun slowly killing her brother and fired a barrage of seeds. These seeds stuck on their target and began draining Godzilla of his energy. Biollante followed up with a burning cloud of spores. Godzilla was in dire straits and needed help. Godzilla could feel his energy slip away and he needed to do something. Godzilla gathered up the energy he had left and used the stored energy to send a nuclear pulse throughout his body destroying the seeds covering his body. The pulse however used up the last of his energy and he fell to the ground spent. Bioghidorah increased his telekinetic hold on Godzilla and Biollante began moving in to finish the job. Biollante was about to deliver the final blow when a second roar pierced the air.
“General You are not going to believe who has appeared. It’s….. Gamera!!!!!!!!!!. “What? Impossible Gamera is supposed to be a myth”.
Gamera however was no legend he was real, and his first order of business was to help Godzilla. Gamera saw the two tyrants glare at him and he immediately sensed it was Bioghidorah that had awakened him and immediately went for him. Bioghidorah was unprepared for the surprise attack and paid for it as Gamera struck Bioghidorah in the back with dozens of white hot plasma balls. Bioghidorah shrieked in pain and could feel the crystal melt. Bioghidorah however would not go down that easily and fired a gravity beam at the turtle scoring a hit on Gameras shell. Gamera was unfazed and rammed Bioghidorah knocking him down. Gamera could sense that the planets lifeforce would not last much longer and fired a plasma ray at Bioghidorahs tentacles destroying them and in the process cutting off Bioghidorahs access to the planets energy. Bioghidorah wailed in pain and felt his input of power stop. Gamera took advantage of the brief distraction and fired another plasma beam scoring a hit on Ghidorahs left side melting even more of the crystal coating. Bioghidorah winced in pain but shrugged it off and flew towards Gamera.
Meanwhile the showdown between Godzilla and Biollante continued. Godzilla and Biollante threw everything they had at each other and they were still standing. Godzilla was impressed how much stronger his “sister” had gotten and Biollante was equally impressed at the increase in Godzillas strength since they last fought. Godzilla tried another heat beam but Biollante simply took the hit and dispersed it through her roots. Biollante could feel the energy flow through her and decided to unleash another new technique firing razor sharp thorns form her tendrils like darts. The thorns stuck themselves all over Godzillas body. Godzilla could feel the intense pain but he shrugged it off and continued his advance on Biollante. Biollante let out a wail and her eyes glowed a bright green. Godzilla immediately felt an intense burning and numbness shoot through his entire body and he fell to the ground.
“Sir What happened why did Godzilla suddenly become paralyzed”? “It’s the thorns the tips must have been covered with a poison that paralyzes the body”. “Do you think he will recover?” “We’ll see said the general with a sad look on his face we’ll see”
Gamera had just witnessed what happened to his ally and fired a plasma beam at Biollante. The mutant plant did not see it coming and felt the searing heat as the beam made contact with her body. Biollante wailed in great pain as her body began to combust. Biolante knew something had to be done and decided to merge herself with Bioghidorah. With one last wail she turned into thousands of spores and began to rain down on Bioghidorah. Bioghidorah could feel his power increase dramatically and he felt his body change as dozens of tendrils sprouted from his body and a second “brain” developed in his chest.
“General Nakajima Bioghidorah has just changed form it looks like he’s stronger than Gamera and Godzilla. Now what should we do asked a frightened and scared officer”. “Hold back all forces let the monsters kill each other. If all three are still alive then send in JSDF forces”.
Indeed Bioghidorah had become stronger. He glared at Godzilla and Gamera and fired an intense beam of sunlight from his middle head searing Gameras flesh as the beam made contact. Godzilla who had recovered from the effects of Biollantes poison fired a heat ray at Bioghidorah but this was simply blocked by a barrier of vines and crystal that appeared in front of Bioghidorah. This barrier reflected the beam at Godzilla and the beam found its mark on Godzilla’s chest forcing him down. Bioghidorah began to move in for the kill but just as he was about to kill Godzilla a plasma beam struck him in the back burning off some of his tendrils. It was Gamera and he was determined to defeat the giant biological terror. Bioghidorah snarled in frustration and fired a disc of micro oxygen and a volley of corona beams from his eyes at Gamera at point blank range. Gamera managed to dodge all of it and rushed over to Godzilla and helped him up. Frustrated and enraged Bioghidorah began charging up a “biolaser” from all three of his heads. This laser was made from all the powers of the monsters that were programmed into his DNA. Godzilla and Gamera charged up their beams and fired their beams just as Bioghidorah fired his. The three beams collided and it soon became a war of endurance as Godzilla and Gamera desperately tried to push back the purple beam of Ghidorahs. BioGhidorah looked like he would have the upperhand and channeled all of his energy into the center of the beam. However the tide would soon turn as unbeknownst to Bioghidorah Gamera had begun drawing power from what was left of the earths essence and slowly began to push the beam back towards Bioghidorah. Bioghidorah tried to match its strength but eventually the increased power of Godzilla and Gameras super heat ray finally over whelmed him as the beam canceled out the “biolaser” and hit Bioghidorah head on. Bioghidorah wailed and screeched in great pain as his body began to combust and break apart. He tried to fly away but his wings began to combust and vaporize due to the tremendous heat. Permanently grounded Bioghidroah tried to fire a gravity beam but it proved useless when his left head exploded. After one last wail the shape of Bioghidorah vanished and all that was left was charred chunks of flesh.
“Sir Bioghidorah is dead what should we do with Godzilla and Gamera”? Let them go they have done good. Even though killing Godzilla will always be top priority He has redeemed himself this time.” “But what about the JSDF forces that are on stand by General they are all in their planes waiting for an order. “Tell them to stand down we do not need to add anymore suffering and bloodshed today.
Godzilla and Gamera were exhausted. They had not only defeated Biollante but also they had eradicated Bioghidorah once and for all. Gameras job was done and he flew back towards his home in Bermuda. Godzilla went back to the sea to recuperate from his injuries but he was glad knowing that the nightmare of Bioghidorah a monster that struck fear and terror into the hearts of every creature in the universe was finally destroyed. Tokyo was once again rebuilt to its former splendor the area that was destroyed by the four monsters was left as it was for so much death and suffering happened that it would never be rebuilt, and the Earth once again entered a period of peace.
4 months later
Prime Minister Kaga ordered a science team led by renowned genetics researcher professor Fuji to go to the ruined wasteland that was formerly western Tokyo and find any remains of Bioghidorah that could be used in mysterious top secret experiments to create the Perfect Anti Godzilla weapon.
