Godzilla vs. Chimera III: The Birth of Biorax

Many people remembered the day that Godzilla and Gamera teamed up to take on Biollante and Bioghidorah. When the two titans of evil were obliterated by Godzilla and Gamera, we were glad that Humankinds two most horrible creations were permanently destroyed. Humanity learned that they were not gods and that sometimes his creations could not be controlled. However some people in the Japanese Government and the JSDF wanted Godzilla dead and they were willing to do anything to make that dream happen.
Island I71 from the log of professor Fuji December 23rd 2009
“Damn the prime minister he can be such a maniacal bastard some times That’s how I felt when we were sent to Island I71 to investigate what was left of Bioghidorah. This island was used by the imperial army as a laboratory for bioweapon experiments, then by the Americans for genetic experiments before our kind friends at the Japanese government finally managed to get this hellhole of an island back. Granted, Godzilla and Gamera did a pretty damned good job of eliminating the fused combination of Bioghidorah and Biollante. The only remains we found in the desolate ruins of western Tokyo were pieces of skin from Bioghidorah. Not much but it was enough that we can attempt to create a monster out of it.”

“At long last we finally have done it We have a result. This specimen seems peculiar. It does not resemble bioghidorah at all. The specimen has all of Bioghidiorahs powers but it looks like a cross between Godzilla, Destroyah and Biollante. That is why we have taken the liberty of naming this monster Biorax. We chose this name because of Biorax’s ability to turn into a corrosive mist and back again during battle. This ability has fascinated myself and my colleagues here on this island. However to prevent escape we had to seal all the ventilation systems and windows in Biorax’s chamber to prevent it from escaping. Biorax also seems to have phenomenal psychic power and the ability to manipulate dimensions and use antimatter balls as a weapon. Its other attacks are the same as Bioghidorahs but they are weaker because of the diluted state of Biorax’s DNA”
Febuary 27th
“Biorax is rebelling we have tried every security measure on the island but the creature has defeated them all. It has killed many of the researchers here on the island and I fear I will soon be the next to die. If my wife is reading this then I am sorry for unleashing this horror on Japan and the World please forgive me”.
Tokyo Japan
“Prime Minister Kaga we have just lost contact with Island I71. Apparently the scientists were killed by something and whatever that something was it escaped”. “Damn we cannot let the public find out, they saw what happened when Chimera was unleashed on the world, we cannot let it happen again”. “Be on the look out for this creature and the moment it makes landfall. “I am ordering all battalions and air squadrons to engage the creature”. “What about the families of the scientists at I71”? “Keep this matter a secret, tell them that there was a tragic lab explosion and that we offer our sympathies”. “Sir isn’t that a little sadistic”. “Shut up if one peep of this matter gets out I will have you join the janitorial staff scrubbing toilets here before you even know what hit you”.
Meanwhile in the Sea of Japan
Godzilla was still recovering from his epic clash with Bioghidorah and Biollante. The two tyrants nearly killed him and came close to taking over the earth, but if it wasn’t for the intervention of Gamera then the two tyrants would have succeeded. As Godzilla pondered this thought he picked up a familiar stench along with the faint smell of flowers. Godzilla recognized this smell as the scent of Bioghidorah. But how? He clearly remembered when he and Gamera vaporized Bioghidorah with a super powerful heat ray. Godzilla decided to swim to the main land and see if Bioghidorah was indeed alive
Biorax had grown considerably since his escape from the scientists. At 600 feet tall he was a force to be reckoned with. He resembled Godzilla in general body structure. However, because of the excess Biollante DNA his entire body was made of heat and radiation resistant vines. As Biorax flew over Abi Island he could detect the spiritual presence of Godzilla swimming towards the mainland. He decided to lure Godzilla towards Tokyo. It was ironic and appropriate, Biorax’s predecessors Bioghidorah and Biollante fought Godzilla and Gamera in a brutal battle in this very city 5 years ago. Even when Bioghidorah and Biollante fused together they still were no match for Godzilla and Gameras combined power. Now fate would repeat itself as the two titans approached their fateful battleground. As he flew over Abi Island he could see the humans running in terror from his very presence. He had no interest in them. His only desire was to see Godzilla dead.
“Sir Godzilla has been sighted making landfall east of Tokyo Time of arrival is undetermined at this point also a giant plant monster has been sighted over Abi island and is heading towards Tokyo at a speed of mach 2 Landfall is estimated at less than 2 to three hours what are your orders sir”. General Nakajima who had been there the day Bioghidorah was destroyed pondered the situation very carefully he had two monsters approaching Japan and both were high priority targets. “don’t do anything yet let them land its clear that this plant monster is heading towards Godzilla let them battle and we will only intervene when the time is right”.
Godzilla had finally arrived in Tokyo. He was surprised at the absence of the humans usual futile attempts at killing him. But he thought nothing of it and surveyed the area.
Biorax had finally arrived in Tokyo. As he flew over he caught site of Godzilla and immediately descended down and rammed him.
Godzilla could feel the impact as something rammed him on his right side knocking him down. Godzilla was stunned but not severely injured and got right back up and turned around to face his assailant. What he saw shocked him. It was not Bioghidorah but rather a new monster he had never seen before. Godzilla was also surprised that the creature nearly looked just like him. Godzilla however knew that this creature was in his territory and needed to be stopped. Biorax anticipated that Godzilla was preparing for an attack and fired a barrage of thorns at Godzilla. Godzilla easily dodged the thorns and fired his heat ray at Biorax. Just as when it looked like the ray was going to hit Biorax. A dimensional rift appeared and sucked the heat ray right into it. Godzilla was stunned and perplexed that not only did his heat ray fail to hit on target but also it had vanished. As Godzilla braced himself for an attack a second rift opened up above Godzilla and shot the heat ray out hitting Godzilla all over his body. Godzilla fell to the ground and he could feel the burning and the stinging wash all over his body. But he shrugged it off and fired another heat ray at Biorax. However Déjà vu occurred and just like the first ray the second blast was also absorbed into the dimensional rift that appeared in front of Biorax. Godzilla braced himself for impact. He was not going to fall for the same trick twice. Unbeknownst to Godzilla the rift opened up behind him and the expelled heat ray struck him in the back. Godzilla went down again and began writhing in pain. Biorax decided to take advantage and fired a volley of crimson energy discs that struck Godzilla all over his entire body. Godzilla was in great agony and he could feel the discs rip into his skin. Biorax took advantage and immediately sent vines that went underground and constricted Godzilla. Unbeknownst to the scientists Biorax had been harboring a secret ever since it was born. Biorax now decided that the time was right and unleashed a ball of plant material that came out from the brain like organ in it chest. It was a smaller creature that was created to help Biorax destroy tough opponents. The creature immediately clamped onto Godzillas right hand and began to squeeze on his fingers. Godzilla wailed in agony as the pressure began cracking the bones in hand. Eventually his hand could not take the pressure and his thumb was broken off. Godzilla roared in great agony and sent a pulse through his body that destroyed the vines and threw the creature off of him. The intense heat from the pulse also caused the creature to be incinerated, but it had done what it was made to do. Biorax did not care about the creatures death. This was a weak minion and soon he would have a stronger servant to take on Godzilla. Godzilla was not amused by Bioraxs tactics and fired a spiral ray at Biorax. Biorax saw the beam coming and dodged it with incredible speed. Biorax tried to use this opportunity to sneak attack Godzilla. Godzilla however could sense Biorax and whacked him with his tail. The impact sent Biorax flying into the diet building as the building erupted in an inferno of molten metal and glass. Biorax recovered from the hit and turned into a cloud of mist.
“Sir We have received direct orders from Prime Minister Kaga he has ordered us to take out Both Godzilla and the plant monster”. I guess I have No choice send in four tank battalions and keep air support on standby. But sir what about the experimental Absolute Zero Bomb? The Absolute what? stuttered the general and his staff. The Absolute Zero Bomb it’s an experimental weapon that we have been working on since Godzilla took on Kiryu it was only recently that our science teams made a breakthrough in replicating the freezing element of the absolute Zero Diamond this bomb can freeze anything. How many do we have? Asked a perplexed General Nakajima. Only one, if it fails then we are out of options what do you wish to do General? Send in the tank battalions and the air squadrons but arm the airplanes with incendiary bombs. “Incendiary Bombs”? The Incendiary bombs would probably add even more damage but they should affect biological entities If these fail then prepare the AZB. Sir the investigative team we sent to I71 has just returned and they have found evidence that the plant monster originated there. “Does Prime Minister Kaga know about what our team has discovered?” “No sir and it looks like he is trying to cover it up but anyway sir. The facility is completely destroyed and the only piece of evidence that we found was a log book written by Professor Fuji”. “Fuji? I knew him he was a great man, what does his log say? Sir it says here that the plant monster currently fighting Godzilla is a creation of his, known as Biorax. Biorax? good god how did he make such a monstrosity. Well sir it seems he somehow managed to gather DNA from the remains of Bioghidorah and unfortunately his creation rebelled and killed him and his science team. Wait I remember. We got a request from Prime Minister Kaga himself for a research team to go down there 8 months ago but we denied it I guess that power hungry fanatic did it himself. Shall we seek treason and murder charges against Kaga? We’ll worry about him later. Right now we need to focus on the situation at hand and get the AZB ready.
Meanwhile, the war between Godzilla and Biorax waged on. Godzilla looked frantically across the desolate landscape for Biorax but there was no sign of his mutant doppleganger. Godzilla then began to feel a burning sensation on his skin and eyes. He did not know what to make of it and the burning sensation continued into his throat and lungs. Godzilla then realized what was happening Biorax was trying to kill him from the inside out. Godzilla acted fast and began to raise his internal body temperature. Bioraxs gaseous form could not take the intense heat for very long and was forced out of Godzilla. Biorax reverted back to his physical form and fired another salvo of energy discs at Godzilla. Godzilla dodged the discs and fired his heat ray at Biorax scoring a direct hit on its chest. Biorax wailed in pain but then something strange began to happen. Waves of crimson and green energy rippled through out its body and as this was happening two giant Blood red flowers grew out of its shoulders. Godzilla was shocked at the incredible sight he saw it seemed that this foe had somehow gained the ability to metabolize his heat ray and use it as energy. Biorax could feel the tremendous power flowing through his body and thanks to Godzilla’s attack, he now had the ability to unleash the full potential of his powers. Godzilla was furious and he decided to try a spiral ray. However as the Ray headed towards Biorax the Flowers on its shoulders began to absorb the ray and just like the first ray the second blast once again caused Biorax to increase in power. Biorax decided now was the time to unleash a new technique and unleashed a flurry of antimatter balls at Godzilla. Godzilla was hit hard and he could feel the tremendous pain each ball generated as they hit his battered body, Biorax was enjoying Godzilla’s suffering and fired another volley of antimatter balls. Eventually the pain from the repeated attacks became unbearable and Godzilla fell to the ground exhausted. Biorax decided to take advantage and moved in to finish the job.
“Tell every tank and plane to aim at Biorax. “Sir it would be wise to take advantage of Godzilla’s condition and eliminate him while we still have the chance General. “No with the powers Biorax possesses we need to find a way to eliminate that thing, if it can easily absorb a heat ray then it must be stopped.
Meanwhile back in the ruined wasteland that was Tokyo Biorax the living breathing legacy of Bioghidorah had thoroughly dominated Godzilla and now nothing could stop him. As he surveyed his new kingdom, he suddenly felt little pricks of pain on his back and neck. He turned around to see who was challenging his might and found that the humans were now challenging him. Biorax was not impressed by their futile efforts and began blasting planes out of the sky like they were flies with his energy discs. As for the tanks. Biorax sent giant vines underground that ripped there way through the armor of the tanks killing the unfortunate souls that were trapped in the tanks. Biorax was satisfied with the destruction that he caused and decided to pick off where he left off. Once again biorax expelled a ball of plant material but the servant that came out this time was radically different. Instead of the creature that broke his thumb off, this creature looked like a giant worm and began to slowly crawl towards Godzilla. Godzilla tried to stop the worm But to no avail as the worm slowly began to engulf Godzilla. Godzilla fired a heat blast inside the worm but because of the heat resistant vines this proved to have no effect. The worm then began to fuse to Bioraxs chest and it became all too clear what Biorax was trying to do.
“Sir what is Biorax doing to Godzilla? It’s trying to absorb Godzilla into itself, if it is able to succeed then nothing can stop it. What do you suggest we should do now sir? You saw what happened to the resistance we sent there is only one option left sir We have no choice but to use the AZB. “Understood, prepare the bomb for launch.
Biorax had Godzilla now and was so close to absorbing him he could feel his power already increasing. He opened up the vines in his chest so Godzilla could have direct access to his stomach where he would be absorbed. However just as it seemed that Godzilla would truly be killed something remarkable began to happen. Godzilla had begun generating heat in a last ditch effort to free himself. He had seen the open area on Biorax and he aimed his spiral ray towards it. By the Time Biorax realized something was wrong it was too late as Godzilla unleashed a hellacious blast that began to fry and incinerate his insides. Biorax wailed in great pain and was forced to defuse with his servant and watched in horror as Godzilla easily incinerated the worm. Biorax however did not want to give up and fired a volley of corona beams from his eyes. Godzilla easily took the hits and began to advance towards Biorax. Biorax decided now it was the time to unleash still another new technique and began drawing solar energy into the flowers on his shoulders. Godzilla tried to stop Biorax with blast after blast from his heat ray but it was to no avail as the blasts were simply absorbed by Biorax. Godzilla could only watch in shock as Biorax gathered the last bits of solar energy he needed and began to glow a bright yellow. Biorax glared at Godzilla and fired a giant white hot beam of sunlight. Godzilla braced himself for impact. He could feel his flesh being burned and he could feel his already battered body hurt even more from the intense heat. Biorax was delighted to see Godzilla suffering and decided to focus even more power into the blast to further hurt Godzilla. Godzilla wailed in great pain and fell to the ground convulsing because of the tremendous burns he had suffered. Biorax however was not done yet and once again constricted Godzilla with vines. Godzilla however would not go down with out a fight and managed to get a heat ray blast on Biorax before he finally passed out from the pain. Biorax felt the power from that futile heat ray be absorbed into him and decided to increase the pressure on Godzilla. Godzilla could feel the vines squeeze into his skin and prepared for the worst.
“Launch the BOMB!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!! screamed General Nakajima. The rocket that contained the bomb roared to life and with a roar and slowly began its ascent towards Tokyo.
Meanwhile Biorax had Godzilla right where he wanted him and to make sure Godzilla would not be getting back up Biorax fired another barrage of antimatter balls from his mouth further damaging the Monster King. Biorax could sense godzillas spiritual energy slowly dwindling and decided to erase the monster king from existence once and for all. Biorax backed away from Godzilla and began mutating once again. This time he transformed his right hand into a lance and numerous tendrils shot out of his back and wrapped them selves around the points on Godzillas body that were not constricted by his previous vine attack. As this was happening Biorax began drawing all of his power and spiritual energy into his left hand. Godzilla was helpless and he could feel a shooting pain on his back as biorax plunged the lance into his back spraying green blood everywhere. Biorax was about to finish Godzilla off when he heard a whistling sound coming from the sky
Sir the bomb has reached its target lets just hope this works. “it better or you can kiss your job at the science department goodbye
Biorax could see the bomb descend towards him and Godzilla. Biorax however would have no time to react as the bomb fell 100 feet from him and exploded turning Tokyo into an ice-filled graveyard. Biorax was hit with the full force of the Blast and at first he could feel his skin absorbing the blast. But then, he realized something was wrong as blue ripples of energy ran all over his body and he slowly began to freeze from the feet up. Biorax desperately tried to move but it was no use as the ice slowly creeped up towards his torso. Godzilla was unaffected by the blast and seeing that Biorax was in dire straights he sent a nuclear pulse through the vines destroying them and freeing himself in the process. Biorax wailed in pain as the ice froze his right arm. He noticed Godzilla had broken free and fired the beam from his left hand. The eerie purple beam hit Godzilla in the chest and began tearing into Godzilla. At first Godzilla wailed in pain but then he began to absorb the energy. As Godzilla absorbed the beam, he could feel his power skyrocket and the spines on his back began to grow longer and more jagged than before.
Sir what is happening to Godzilla? He is absorbing the beam pretty soon he’ll have more power than Biorax. He will not be just Godzilla anymore. He’ll be Super Godzilla.
Meanwhile, Godzilla had completed his transformation and Biorax could not believe what he was seeing as the ice continued to creep up his body. Godzilla was glowing with power the Ice all round him and the surrounding area melting due to the intense heat and in a show of force sent a strong pulse that struck Biorax on the exposed parts of his torso and head leaving horrendous damage. Biorax wailed in great pain and helplessly watched as parts of his skin were vaporized and burned by the pulse. Godzilla could feel his body strain to keep this newfound power contained and decided now was the time to finish off Biorax. Godzilla gave the now fully frozen Biorax one last glare and fired a massive white-hot mega spiral ray. The beam found its mark and shattered the ice encasing Biorax. Biorax screamed in pain as he could feel his body vaporizing and with in seconds Biorax the “offspring” of the nightmarish Bioghidorah was finally destroyed. Godzilla gave a victorious roar as his body returned to normal. Godzilla surveyed the desolate ruins of Tokyo. His mysterious foe had been a formidable adversary but in the end it was no match for him. Godzillas body was sore and battered but he had won and he had once again protected his domain. Godzilla surveyed the desolate Ice filled ruins of Tokyo and after seeing that his foe was indeed gone turned around and slowly began walking back to the ocean to recover from his injuries, each step brought a wave of pain all over Godzilla’s body but he took it in stride and continued his trek to the ocean.
“Damn it!!!!!! Screamed general Nakajima. We were so close but at least we managed to destroy Biorax. Sir should we try and rebuild western Tokyo”. No solider that part of Tokyo should be preserved the way it is so that people can remember the sacrifice that their fellow compatriots made and still make every day to keep our country safe from Godzilla and other threats.
Humanity witnessed the result of twisted science and corrupt government bureaucracy that day. Biorax nearly destroyed Godzilla, Japan and the World but thanks to Godzilla and the JSDF, humanity was saved. Prime Minister Kaga and his staff were arrested for crimes against humanity and grand treason. Kaga was forced to resign from his job and spend the rest of his life in prison. Island I71 was closed by the JSDF and professor Fuji the brilliant scientist that was forced to create Biorax was given a heroes burial and remembered for his contributions to science.
