Legacy Of The Guardian Monsters

The year is 2005. One year ago, the Japanese Navy, along with the help of the Guardian Monsters, destroyed the menace that was Godzilla. The only part of him that remained was his huge heart. On the bottom of Yokohama Bay, his heart continued to beat. His body regenerated, and he was stronger than ever. For one year, he lay at the bottom of the ocean, getting stronger by feeding on the toxic nuclear waste. Now, he is ready to take his revenge on Japan, and on the entire planet. And with Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah all out of the way, no one could stand against his wrath.
Yuri walked on the sidewalk in Tokyo. She kept remembering what had happened a year ago in Yokohama. Godzilla had destroyed both Mothra and King Ghidorah. She and her friend, Takeda, had almost been killed by Godzilla twice. She walked into the JSDF Main Head Quarters. “Ah, Miss Tachibana. Your father is waiting for you on level 10.” Captain Makora said. “Thank you, Captain.” Yuri said back. She walked over to the elevator and pressed the button for level 10. The elevator began to rise. In a few seconds, the elevator opened to the Control Room. “General?” she asked. “In here, Yuri. I need to talk to you.” General Tachibana replied. Yuri sat down across from her father. “What did you need to talk to me about, Dad?” she asked. “As you know, Lieutenant Kubo was recently killed in a flight test for our newest line of fighters, the Bladewing.” He started. “Yes, I know about that. What does this have to do with me?” Yuri asked again. “I want you to be our newest recruit to the JSDF.” He finished. “What? You want me to be a lieutenant? But I don’t know anything about the military. I refuse to be part of the JSDF!” she said firmly. “You are part of the JSDF whether you like it or not, Yuri! I am your father, and you will do as I say!” he yelled back. Yuri left into the elevator. She ran out to the street. Then she went home.

While Yuri and her father were bickering in Tokyo, an earthquake was rocking the city of Rome. The Italian citizens ran in panic, doing whatever they possibly could to get out of the city. The rumbling ceased, but the ocean began to boil. The people watched out over the ocean. Their view was soon blocked by a massive wall of water. They began to run for their lives as soon as they heard the roar of the most evil creature on the planet. Godzilla had invaded the Italian capitol. He roared again as he walked onto the shore. Then he pushed over tall buildings and crushed many of the evacuating citizens. He illuminated his dorsal fins and released his atomic blast at the other people. They screamed in horror and anguish as the blast incinerated them. Godzilla snarled as he stomped through the city. He crushed anything and everything in his path. After an hour in the city, he walked back into the ocean and headed for England.
Yuri sat in her house and watched the news. “We’re coming to you live from Rome, Italy. A powerful force has recently destroyed the city. Because there are no people near here, we don’t know what could have possibly caused this amount of destruction in such a short time. There is no sure answer, however, experts all believe that the force that caused this destruction was the recently destroyed Godzilla. This is highly unlikely because Godzilla was destroyed by the Japanese Navy one year ago in Yokohama. We have no idea where the force will strike next. But if something happens, we will be the first to know.” The newscaster explained. Yuri was horrified. Could Godzilla have returned? And where would he strike next if he had returned? She reached for the phone and dialed a number. The phone rang three times and was picked up. “Hello?” the voice on the other line asked. “Takeda?” Yuri asked. “Speaking. What’s up?” he replied. “Are you watching the news?” she asked. “No. What are they talking about?” he asked back. “Turn it on. Something horrible has happened in Rome.” She said. “Oh, my” What could have done that?” he questioned. “The newscasters say that most experts say that Godzilla has returned. Do you think this is possible?” she asked him. “I don’t know. Tell you what. Let’s meet at the cafe downtown and discuss what’s going on. Oh! And I heard that you’re part of G-Force now.” He said. “Oh, don’t remind me.” Yuri said back. “Alright. See you in half an hour.” Takeda finished as he hung up the phone. Yuri did the same. In a half an hour she was talking with Takeda in the cafe in downtown Tokyo. “So Takeda, what do you think? Has Godzilla returned?” Yuri asked. “I don’t know. It is entirely possible, however unlikely. The only part of his body that survived was his heart. It’s possible that it regenerated. If it did, then the entire planet is in great danger now that the Guardian Monsters are dead.” Takeda replied. “That’s not entirely correct. I’ve been doing some research in my spare time and I found out that Russia, America, and England all have a Guardian Monster.” Yuri said. “Really? What are they’re names?” Takeda asked. “The American monster is named Battra. He is similar to Mothra, although stronger. The English monster is named Manda. He is a massive serpent about 150 meters in length.” She continued. “And the Russian monster?” Takeda asked. “I don’t know the name of that Guardian Monster.” Yuri finished. “If Godzilla has come back, then we may be able to stop him again.” Takeda said. Yuri’s phone began to ring. She answered it. “Hello? What? How? Alright, Dad. I’m on my way.” She said into the phone as she put it back into her pocket. “What did your father say?” Takeda asked. “I have to go back to G-Force HQ. I’ll talk to you later.” She said to her friend as she walked out the door.

Godzilla rose from the ocean to get some air. He sniffed the air and looked around. He snarled and went back under the water. He smiled wickedly as he approached England. The city of London would soon go from beautiful metropolis to barren wasteland. A few hours past until he reached the English coast. He didn’t want to be seen, so as he reached the coastline, he began to dig his way through. He was eventually crawling deep underground, completely concealed. He suddenly knew he was under London, so he forced all of his weight against the ground above him. The ground in London started to shake violently, the same way that it had in Rome a few hours ago. The English citizens were panicked and began to run around. In a few moments, Godzilla burst through the ground and roared at the sky. The citizens were horrified. He began his rampage across the city. He spared nothing and no one he saw. He roared again and unleashed his atomic beam at Big Ben, instantly causing the huge clock tower to become enveloped in flames. He pushed it over. The towering inferno crushed and burned many of the humans. He ravaged the city for hours. He eventually went back under the ground, this time heading for the United States.
“You wanted to see me, sir?” Yuri said to her father. “Yes. Because there are rumors that Godzilla has returned, I need you to go with Captain Takoda and test the Bladewing immediately. That’s an order, Lieutenant.” The general said. “Yes, sir.” Yuri replied. She walked out of the room and went up to the hangar. “Yuri! Over here!” Captain Takoda cried. Yuri walked over and they both climbed into the jet. “So this is the Bladewing? How advanced.” She said to her pilot. “Yup, and we’re about to take off. Let’s go!!!” he said as he hit the ignition switch. The fighter lifted into the air and flew out of the hangar and into the sky. “Now, hold on tight, Lieutenant.” Takoda said as he made the plane do a barrel roll while they flew toward the ocean. “WOW!” Yuri said. “Now let’s test the weapons.” The captain said. He pressed a button and launched two missiles at the water. “Amazing! I’ve never seen a plane this fast before!” Yuri said as the plane continued to fire. After about 45 minutes, Captain Takoda landed the plane back in the G-Force hangar. Yuri walked into her father’s room in the building. “How was the test, Lieutenant?” he asked. “Amazing. The Bladewing is amazingly fast.” Yuri replied. “Well, you look tired. Go home and get some rest.” General Tachibana said to his daughter. So, Yuri went home. She looked at her clock. It was already 11:30. She climbed into bed and fell asleep.

Meanwhile, Takeda sat in the library with a pile of books on American, Russian, and Italian history. He looked for information on the Guardian Monsters from those countries. “There!” he said to himself. “So, the Russian monster is named Gorosaurus.” He said again. He checked out all of the books, put them in his car, and drove home. I should call Yuri and tell her. He thought to himself. He looked at his watch. It’s too late. I’ll call her in the morning. He walked inside and continued to read the books, each on giving him more information on the Guardian Monsters.
General Tachibana sat in the control room, watching the news. “Right now, we’re in New York City, where strange weather has been occurring for several days now. The mayor has arranged to talk with us today.” The reporter said. “Hello. I’m Mayor Johnson, mayor of New York City. Lately, the city has…” the mayor started. He was interrupted when everyone began staring at the ocean. “A massive tidal wave has just smashed into some of the buildings in the city!” the reporter said. “And now a roar has… OH MY GOD!!!” the reporter screamed. The general had heard it, too. “Godzilla!!! Godzilla has attacked New York!” the mayor cried. The massive dinosaur walked into the land and blasted everything within his range with his atomic breath attack. “We’re doomed!” the mayor said. He screamed as Godzilla crushed him underfoot. Tachibana stood up in horror and lunged for the phone. “Pick up, pick up!” he whispered. “Hello?” a voice said. “Godzilla! He’s in New York! He’s still alive, commander!” the general said. “I know. He survived.” Commander Taru replied. “What will we do, General?” he asked. “We’ll have to deploy as many Bladewings as possible. I’ll see you tomorrow.” General Tachibana said as they both hung up. How will we stop him this time? He thought. However they were going to do it, they had to do it fast.
Around noon, Yuri was walking around. She was stopped by Takeda. “Yuri! I know who the Russian monster is!” he said in excitement. “Who is it?” she asked. “A monster named Gorosaurus. He is about 55 meters tall, and can burrow almost as well as Baragon.” He finished. “Good. Godzilla is, in fact, alive. I’m on my way to G-Force HQ to attack him.” Yuri said. “OK. Good luck.” Takeda said as they parted. Yuri met her father in the hangar. He was talking to everyone. “You brave men and women are about to combat Godzilla. He is extremely dangerous. I know that several of you will not survive this battle. But just remember what you are fighting for. The Earth. You may…” he was interrupted by a siren. “NEW MONSTER FOUND. NEW MONSTER FOUND. MONSTER IDENTIFIED AS AMERICAN GUARDIAN MONSTER, BATTRA. MONSTER IDENTIED AS AMERAICAN GUARDIAN MONSTER, BATTRA. MONSTER HEADING FOR: TOKYO. ESTIMATED TIME TO ARRIVAL: 2 TO 4 DAYS.” The mechanical voice said. “Battra?” Yuri said to herself. The siren started again. “NEW MONSTER FOUND. NEW MONSTER FOUND. MONSTER IDENTIFIED AS BRITISH GURADIAN MONSTER, MANDA. MONSTER IDENTIFIED AS BRITISH GUARDIAN MONSTER, MANDA. MONSTER APPROACHING: TOKYO. ESTIMATED TIME TO ARRIVAL: 1 TO 3 DAYS. MANDA IS TRAVELING UNDERGROUND.” The robotic voice blared. “Now Manda is here?” one of the soldiers said.
“And what about the Russian monster? What about Gorosaurus?” Yuri asked. The siren didn’t go off a third time like everyone had hoped. “You have to keep Godzilla in the ocean and away from Japan. The Guardian Monsters will be here in a few days. Now, go and fight this monstrosity!” the general finished. The pilots ran to the Bladewings, F-15Js, and Apaches. The choppers and fighters lifted into the air and left the hangar in squadrons of four or five. Yuri was the pilot on the second Bladewing to leave the hangar, with Captain Maroa as the weapons controller. They accelerated and caught up with the other aircraft. “All units report in.” Captain Maroa said to all of the pilots. They all said they’re names to Maroa. “Good. General, everyone is accounted for.” He reported. “Excellent. The Hatsuyuki Destroyers and Haruna Destroyers are ahead of you. Remember, the Apaches need to keep him away from the islands, while the fighters and destroyers attack Godzilla.” Tachibana said. The fighters accelerated again, getting closer and closer to Godzilla. They passed over the ships. “Yuri, please be careful.” The general said to his daughter. “I will, father.” Yuri replied.

Godzilla heard the destroyer ships above the water. He started to ascend. “Admiral! We have located Godzilla. He’s rising at a 45-degree angle at about 10 knots.” Lieutenant Katsuka said. “OK. All Haruna and Hatsuyuki ships; ready your weapons. He should be surfacing in about 45 seconds.” Admiral Utsumi replied to his Lieutenant and to the rest of the ships. A minute passed. Godzilla emerged from the cold ocean water and eyed the ships. The Destroyers attacked, unloading their smaller turrets on Godzilla first. The evil reptile roared and charged his atomic blast. He almost unleashed it at one of the ships, but he was hit in the chest with a revolving missile that was launched from one of the Harunas. He roared again and successfully launched his beam at the same ship. The large vessel exploded, raining shrapnel everywhere. He blasted another ship. He started ignoring the smaller attacks. The massive dinosaur bellowed and smashed his tail on top of one of the Hatsuyukis. The elegant ship sank beneath the ocean after being sliced in half vertically. Godzilla roared in satisfaction. He destroyed more and more ships. Suddenly, he felt a massive pain on the left side of his neck. Yuri’s Bladewing’s extremely sharp wing had opened a wound on the mighty mutation’s neck. “Take that!” she said from the cockpit. “Nice job, Yuri.” Maroa said. He launched four missiles at Godzilla, signaling for the other fighters to do the same. Godzilla roared in anger and illuminated his dorsal fins. Three of the Apaches flew in front of his face, distracting him. The F-15Js attacked next. They blasted Godzilla in the side. The mighty monster roared in surprise and blasted the fighters. The planes exploded. “We just lost five F-15Js, sir.” Maroa said. “I know. Just keep fighting. We have to battle him as long as possible.” General Tachibana replied. Godzilla continued to destroy planes and ships. They burst into flame and sank beneath the ocean, while the aircraft exploded. Then Godzilla started to power his entire body. Blue electricity flowed around him. He roared and unleashed his new atomic shockwave. The shockwave destroyed all of the ships and Apaches, and spared only two Bladewings, and only a single F-15J. “All remaining units; Abort the mission. I repeat; Abort the mission.” General Tachibana ordered. “Yuri, are you alright?” he asked. “Yes, I think. Captain Maroa and I were almost killed. But, luckily, he dropped all of the remaining missiles, giving us enough speed to escape.” Yuri replied. The battle was lost. However, Godzilla didn’t head to Tokyo as expected. Instead, he headed for Ogasawara Island.
Takeda watched the news at home. They kept talking about the battle between the JSDF and Godzilla. “I hope Yuri’s alright.” He said to himself. The door started to knock. “Come in,” he said. Yuri walked through the doorway. “Takeda? Are you in here?” she asked. “Yuri! You’re alright!” Takeda said back. “Barely. Captain Maroa and I, along with only four other men, were the only ones to survive.” She informed. “Amazing. All of the ships, too?” he asked. “Yes. They were all destroyed.” Yuri said back. “Well, that battle has been all the people on the news have been talking about.” He said to Yuri. “I know.” She replied. “I have something good to tell you.” Yuri started. “What is it?” Takeda asked. “Battra and Manda are heading for Tokyo. They should be here in a few days.” She told him. “What about Gorosaurus?” her friend asked again. “He hasn’t been sighted as of yet.” She said back. “I have to go, Takeda. I’ll see you later.” Yuri said as she walked to the door. “Alright. Bye.” Takeda said as she walked to her car. I hope the Guardian Monsters get here soon. She thought.

The Prime Minister of Japan, Takaya Kirosawa, met with President Bush personally in Tokyo. “Mr. President, will you assist us in trying to stop Godzilla?” he asked. “Of course, Prime Minister. If one of our allies is in danger, we will do whatever we can to help.” The President replied. “Thank you. Now, that being said, most of our forces have been based on Ogasawara Island. Godzilla is heading there now. I was wondering if you could send forces there as well. Would that be possible?” he asked, “Hmm… yes, it would. Our troops just got out of Iraq a few weeks ago. We’ll send several forces to Ogasawara.” The President replied. “Thank you.” The Prime Minister said back. “You are quite welcome, Prime Minister.” The President replied. They both left the room.
The Japanese soldiers landed on Ogasawara Island and began placing artillery in several spots. A few hours later, the American soldiers arrived with even more artillery. Battleships and Aircraft Carriers were positioned around the entire island. The soldiers were confident that they would be able to stop Godzilla. Yuri and Captain Maroa circled above the island in the only surviving Bladewing, along with several American Super Hornets and Tomcats. “Everything looks OK, General.” Captain Johnson reported to General Thompson onboard one of the Aircraft Carriers. “Good. You can set down until Godzilla comes up on the radar.” He replied. “Yes, sir.” The pilot said back. The fighters set down on the carriers. Then they were refueled and reloaded. A few hours passed, and still no sign of Godzilla. “Where could that monster be?” Captain Maroa said. “I don’t…” Yuri started. She was interrupted by a very loud roar from the center of the island. “All units… MOBILIZE!” both of the Generals ordered. The large number of tanks headed for the middle of the island. Godzilla was attacked by the tanks. He barely felt anything, but still reacted. He kicked the tanks, causing them to explode. The soldiers on the ground screamed in horror as Godzilla began to illuminate his fins. Then, he opened his mouth. His mouth was flooded with light. He unleashed his attack, killing dozens of soldiers and wiping out most of the tanks. Then he aimed for the fighter. “Everyone, get away from Godzilla! He’s going to attack!” Yuri said over the radio to the fighters. “Let’s hit him before he attacks!” one pilot said confidently. “No! Get back! You won’t be able to get away if you attack!” Maroa said sternly. “Yes I will! How fast can he possibly attack?” the pilot said back. “I’m going in!” he said. “Captain Maroa is right, Johnny! We won’t be able to evade his attack now!” Johnny’s weapon controller, Steve said nervously. “Just shut up and fire, Steve!” Johnny said angrily. “No! I’m getting out of here!” Steve finished. He pressed his eject button. He shot out of his chair and landed on the ground softly. He ran for his life when he hit the ground. “Steve, if I get out of this, I’ll kill you!” he said under his breath. Godzilla snarled at the oncoming Tomcat. He blasted the aircraft with his attack. “AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!” Johnny screamed as the blast connected. His fighter exploded in a purple fireball. “He’s attacking again!” Yuri cried. He launched his atomic ray again. He destroyed all but two of the Super Hornets and damaged the Tomcats and Yuri’s Bladewing. “Abort the mission!” Maroa ordered. “Get back to the ships!” General Tachibana ordered. The planes were fast enough to get away. They landed on the ships. “Preparing to depart, sir.” Lieutenant Takaso informed. “Good. Let’s get out of here!” The U.S. General commanded. Godzilla leaped into the ocean after the ships. He poked his head above the water and destroyed three quarters of the ships. He swam ahead and blasted the rest, leaving only one American ship and one Japanese ship. He dove back into the water.
“No! How can he be that powerful?” General Tachibana asked as he slammed his fist on the table. “It’s alright, Dad. The Guardian Monsters will defeat him.” Yuri said to calm him down. “Go home and get some sleep, Father.” She said again. “Yes. Battra and Manda should be in Tokyo by tomorrow.” Takeda said next. “Alright. I’ll see you both tomorrow.” The General said. He walked out of the house and got in his car and drove home.

The JSDF already had units placed all over Tokyo and in Tokyo Bay. Dozens of fighters circled around the huge city, making sure that Godzilla hadn’t arrived yet. “Everything is A-OK, General.” Said Commander Hiroshi, who was positioned on the ground with the largest ground force. This is just like what happened at Yokohama one year ago. We probably won’t have a chance. We barely survived last time, and he’s even stronger than he was last year. We’re going to lose! Hiroshi thought to himself. The American military wasn’t able to help. They were to badly damaged in the last battle with Godzilla. About an hour had passed. There was a loud explosion. A blue blast had struck one of the skyscrapers in the city. Godzilla had arrived, and he made his presence known. He roared as the soldiers prepared to fire. “All units, commence firing!” General Tachibana said from the JSDF Headquarters. “Yes sir!” said the two commanders on the front lines. The tanks and missile launcher trucks fired. The fighters attacked as well, blasting Godzilla in waves. Godzilla roared and walked onto the land. He started to charge his beam. He nearly released it, until he was knocked over by another blast. “Battra! Battra’s arrived!” Maroa said in unison with Yuri onboard the Bladewing. “Excellent! Help him out!” the General ordered. Godzilla stood up and glared at Battra. The American Guardian Monster ran at Godzilla. Godzilla didn’t see Battra as a threat, because he was still in his larval stage. Battra was insulted and stabbed Godzilla with his horn. Godzilla roared and tried to pull Battra out. Battra dug his horn in deeper, this time gathering energy. He pumped his energy into Godzilla, similar to Ghidorah’s electric bite. Godzilla roared in pain. Battra roared back and continued pumping energy into Godzilla. The evil monster smashed Battra with his tail, freeing Godzilla. Battra flew back. Godzilla blasted the massive insect with his atomic beam. Battra survived, his skin being almost as thick as Godzilla’s. Godzilla turned away, thinking Battra was dead. He began to attack the Japanese capital. The army vehicles continued to attack. Godzilla roared and unleashed his atomic shockwave again. The wave destroyed almost every vehicle, and killed several of the soldiers. Godzilla then roared and his mouth was flooded with energy. He blasted the remaining vehicles. “It’s up to the fighters, now. The ground forces have been routed.” Commander Hiroshi informed. Godzilla continued his attack. He was bit in the leg by another Guardian Monster. Manda. Manda was attacking Godzilla. Godzilla snarled and shook Manda off. The massive serpent hissed at his enemy. Godzilla roared back and stomped on Manda. Manda roared in agony. “We have to help Manda!” General Tachibana ordered. “Yes, sir!” Captain Maroa replied. “All remaining units, attack Godzilla! We must help Manda!” he ordered. Yuri flew lower, while Maroa attacked Godzilla. “Take this, lizard!” he cried as he continued to fire. Manda regained the upper hand and wrapped himself around Godzilla’s entire body. The massive dinosaur roared in anguish as Manda constricted him. He was able to get Manda off by generating heat from his dorsal fins. Manda hissed as his scaly flesh was singed and charred. He released his enemy. Godzilla fired his blast at Yuri and Captain Maroa’s fighter. The blast hit and destroyed the Bladewing’s left wing. “Yuri! I’ll fire until I hit the ground! You have to elect!” he ordered his pilot. “I won’t go without you! We’re both want to see Godzilla be defeated, don’t we?” Yuri asked. “Yes, but…” Maroa continued. “Just do it!” she said. “No! I’ll do as much damage as possible, then I’ll eject!” the gunner told her. “Alright…” Yuri said in disappointment. She hit the eject button and shot out of the careening fighter. She landed on the ground several meters from Godzilla, but still ran from him. She met up with Commander Hiroshi on the front lines and began to fire.

Maroa tried to launch the remaining missiles at Godzilla, but he stopped, trying to prevent himself from hurting Manda. He took control of the plane and tried to steer it so that he would be able to eject just before it would hit Godzilla. He pulled the control as hard as he could. He flew for Godzilla’s neck. Here goes nothin… He thought. The fighter’s eject function had been jammed! Maroa screamed as the Bladewing smashed into Godzilla, with him still inside. “We’ve lost contact with Captain Maroa, General.” One of the soldiers radioed. Yuri watched in horror as her friend was killed in a fiery explosion. Godzilla snarled and looked at the soldiers. He crushed some of them with his foot, and others with his tail. They screamed as they were murdered by the evil being of darkness. Manda stood up and leaped at Godzilla. Godzilla turned, only to have Manda slash him in the eye. Manda landed on the ground behind Godzilla. Godzilla bellowed in horrible agony. Manda had blinded his right eye permanently. The massive creature tripped and crushed Manda. Manda tried to slither away, but Godzilla regained his footing, stood up, and began to illuminate his fins. Manda’s eyes widened in horror as Godzilla breathed the essential energy for his attack in. Godzilla unleashed his blue attack at his injured opponent. The beam incinerated Manda from the tail up. The British Guardian Monster hissed in horror and burst into particles, releasing his soul. Godzilla roared in victory. “Manda…” General Tachibana whispered. As Manda’s soul broke apart, it hissed at Godzilla. Godzilla was startled and almost fell back.
Godzilla roared again and destroyed some of the tanks with his tail. Then he looked at the ships in Tokyo Bay. He snarled as they began to fire at him. The projectiles did a larger than normal amount of damage. “Manda’s soul must have weakened him! Continue to fire!” Captain Haro pointed out. The tanks and missile trucks continued to attack the evil monstrosity. Godzilla roared and fell back. He stood up, enraged, and smashed the nearest tanks. The soldiers around the vehicles ran in panic. Godzilla glared at them and snarled. A few of them looked back at him. His terrifying visage was the last thing they saw, as Godzilla incinerated their bodies. Suddenly, Godzilla lost his balance and toppled over, crushing more soldiers and jeeps. The ground where he previously stood had opened up. Godzilla stood back up and looked into the hole. “Father? What’s down there?” Yuri asked over the radio. “I don’t know.” The General replied. “All units be ready to fire if necessary.” He ordered. Godzilla stepped back as the hole seemed to growl at him. “It must be…” Captain Haro began. He didn’t need to finish. Gorosaurus leaped out of the hole, glaring at Godzilla. The two monsters circled around the hole, continuing to glare at one another. Godzilla leaped across the hole and tackled Gorosaurus. Gorosaurus roared as Godzilla tackled him. Godzilla stood upright and smashed Gorosaurus in the face with his tail. Gorosaurus roared again. After a few smashes of Godzilla’s tail, Gorosaurus suddenly received a huge amount of power. He bit Godzilla’s tail and stood up, toppling Godzilla. The overturned creature roared in anger and swung himself so that he would be able to bite Gorosaurus in the neck. He did so, and sank his fangs into Gorosaurus’ scaly flesh. The huge dinosaur winced. He eventually dropped Godzilla to the ground, allowing him to stand up. The two monsters grappled with each other. They were almost equal in strength, but Godzilla’s size gave him a considerably large advantage. He swung his large tail and tripped his enemy. Gorosaurus fell back into the hole. Godzilla looked back down into the hole, searching for Gorosaurus. “No! He’s going to kill Gorosaurus! We have to stop him!” Yuri cried. “We can’t fire! We’ve taken too much damage!” Haro told her. Godzilla illuminated his dorsal fins and opened his mouth. Then, he launched his atomic blast strait into the large hole. “No!!!” General Tachibana cried. The blast threw dirt and cement everywhere. Some of the soldiers were crushed by large boulders. Godzilla looked around. He was surprised that Gorosaurus’ soul didn’t emerge from the hole. Instead, Godzilla was pulled under the ground by Gorosaurus. “He’s alive!” Commander Hiroshi said in joy. Gorosaurus emerged from the original hole unharmed, and began to cover the holes with dirt. His attempts were in vain, as Godzilla’s blast seared through the ground, heading strait for Gorosaurus’ chest. Gorosaurus winced again. He didn’t feel the heat of Godzilla’s attack yet. He was very confused. Then, the huge reptile opened his eyes to see that a large beetle-like monster was using his own attacks to repel the blast. “Battra’s still alive, too? Excellent! Now there’s no way we can lose!” Yuri said in overwhelming happiness. Battra chirped at Gorosaurus to move. Gorosaurus did so and leaped away. Battra flew higher. The beam ceased to flow. Godzilla burst through the dirt and got out of the hole. He roared in fury and leaped at Battra and smashed him in the head with both of his fists. Battra roared and fell to the ground. Godzilla stomped on the American Guardian Monster. The winged creature chirped in pain as Godzilla forced his foot on top of his abdomen. Gorosaurus charged and head-butted Godzilla in the chest, forcing him away from the fallen Battra.

Yuri’s cell phone started to ring. “Hello?” she said. “Yuri! Tell the soldiers to try to hit Godzilla in the left shoulder. That’s his weakest point!” Takeda informed. “OK!” Yuri said back. She flipped it closed and put the phone back into her pocket. “Aim for Godzilla’s left shoulder!” she told Captain Haro. “Alright.” Haro replied. “All remaining units, aim for Godzilla’s left shoulder! That’s his only weak point!” he ordered. The few remaining tanks and missile trucks aimed for the monster’s left shoulder and fired. The missiles scored several direct hits. Godzilla roared in pain and fell forward. Gorosaurus and Battra looked at their enemy in confusion. Godzilla growled and stood up. He glared at the ships. “Move the ships to safety!” Commander Hiroshi ordered the sailors on the ships. “Yes, si---- AAAHHHH!!!!!!” on of the soldiers replied. The ship he was on had exploded. “We’ve lost the Suji, General.” Captain Haro reported. “I know. Get everyone off of the remaining ships immediately!” General Tachibana ordered to Haro. Godzilla leaped into Tokyo Bay, heading for a ship called Hazuki. He roared and swam faster. He was undetected by the ship’s sonar. He lit up his dorsal fins, generating a huge amount of heat. He swam under the ship, running his fins strait through the hull. The metal exterior of the ship melted almost instantly, allowing water to get in. The ship sank to the bottom of the bay, never to be used against Godzilla again. The massive reptile emerged from the water and went back onto the land. Battra and Gorosaurus braced themselves. Godzilla charged at the two Guardian Monsters. He knocked Gorosaurus to the ground. Gorosaurus roared in pain as he head smashed against the hard ground. Battra latched onto Godzilla’s right arm. Battra then blasted his adversary in the neck with his purple prism beams. Godzilla roared in agony and tried to shake Battra off of his arm. Battra stayed on, trying to crush the massive dinosaur’s arm. After a few seconds, Godzilla charged his atomic ray. Battra winced at the light and looked up to see Godzilla aiming for him. A split-second before the attack was launched, Battra let go of Godzilla. The blast hit Godzilla’s arm, charring and burning it severely. Godzilla roared in massive anguish and fell onto the base of a large building. He opened his eyes to see what had happened. Battra blasted the building just above Godzilla’s head. The skyscraper collapsed. Godzilla was buried under several tons of steel and concrete. He roared in horror and pain. “They did it!” everyone cried. “Just to be sure, fire at the pile of rubble!” General Tachibana ordered. “Yes, sir!” Captain Haro replied. The remaining ships and ground vehicles attacked the remnants of the building, as did Battra and Gorosaurus. Devoid of energy attacks, Gorosaurus stomped on the pile. The Guardian Monsters and the army units stopped firing. “I think… I think we got him.” Haro said. The confidence was short-lived. Godzilla’s attack burst through the rubble and hit Battra’s left wing. The heat of the blast seared a large hole in the huge wing. Battra was unable to stay aloft and fell to the ground. The massive insect had been caused a huge amount of pain. He whimpered as he closed his eyes. Gorosaurus roared in fury and attacked Godzilla. He bit the opposing dinosaur in the neck. Godzilla did the same to Gorosaurus, both creatures causing one another great pain. Gorosaurus increased the strength of his bite, nearly snapping Godzilla’s neck. Godzilla let go of Gorosaurus’ neck, but Gorosaurus held on. Godzilla roared in pain again, and swung his tail at Gorosaurus, knocking the massive reptile to the ground. Crimson blood oozed from Godzilla’s neck. He then crushed Gorosaurus’ leg with his huge foot. Gorosaurus roared in agony as his leg was crushed. “If he paralyzes Gorosaurus, Battra won’t stand a chance!” Yuri said in horror. The massive dinosaur felt his leg snap. He roared again. Godzilla snarled back at his crippled enemy. He charged his atomic ray. “Gorosaurus!!!” Three of the soldiers in the JSDF Control Room cried. Godzilla unleashed his powerful attack at the fallen reptile. The blast was stopped by a massive energy shield. “King Ghidorah’s energy shield!” General Tachibana said. Godzilla became angry and blasted again. This time, the beam was re-directed back at Godzilla. Godzilla was hit and flew back. He landed on the ground hard. He stood up after a few seconds. Then, he roared at Gorosaurus and Battra.

Battra lay on the ground, unable to fly. Godzilla’s attack had seared through one of his wings. He watched as Gorosaurus’ energy shield broke apart. The bits of energy circled around Battra. He chirped in confusion. Almost on cue, the particles were absorbed into Battra’s wing, and then the rest of his body. He no longer felt paralyzed and leaped into the air. He had been fused with Mothra’s DNA, allowing him to withstand more and fly faster. He flew to Gorosaurus. Gorosaurus looked up at him. Battra set down next to his Russian ally. They seemed to speak to each other for several moments. Then, Battra lifted into the air and headed for Godzilla. Godzilla glared at his enemy. Battra bit Godzilla in the arm. Godzilla roared and shook him off. The giant insect lost flight control temporarily, allowing Godzilla to charge his atomic blast. “Brace yourselves!” Commander Hiroshi said. Godzilla unleashed his attack and aimed for Battra. The gargantuan bug had regained control and was able to evade the beam. Godzilla grew angry and blasted again. Battra evaded his blast for a second time. Battra had had enough and blasted Godzilla back with his hornbeam. Godzilla was hit in the chest. He roared in pain and stepped back. Battra flew higher into the air. Godzilla looked for his missing adversary. “Where did Battra go, General?” Lieutenant Yukiyo asked. “I don’t know. It could have something to do with Mothra’s DNA.” The general started. “Mothra’s DNA?” Yukiyo asked. “Yes. Remember when King Ghidorah’s energy shield protected Gorosaurus from Godzilla’s atomic blast?” he continued. “Yes.” The lieutenant answered. “Well, when the shield broke up and was absorbed by Battra, he was infused with Mothra”s DNA.” General Tachibana informed. “But, Mothra didn’t have anything to do with the shield, did she?” the confused soldier asked again. “Yes she did.” Tachibana corrected him. “But, how?” Yukiyo asked. “When Mothra revived King Ghidorah after Godzilla destroyed her, her DNA was used to create his shield. And when Gorosaurus used it, it was sent to Battra. The particles revived him, giving Mothra’s DNA.” He finished. “Oh, I see.” Yukiyo finished.
Battra leveled off and began to descend. He headed strait for Godzilla, who still had no idea where Battra had gone. Battra came in fast and silent, not wanting to alert Godzilla. He smashed into the massive reptile’s head. Godzilla toppled over on top of a few tanks and dozens of soldiers. He stood up and looked around. He noticed that Gorosaurus was unconscious and began to energize himself. Gorosaurus regained conscious and tried to stand up. He was able to get on his feet after a while. He was blinded by a bright light. Godzilla’s attack nearly hit him. Fortunately, Battra was able to deflect the attack with his own two attacks. Godzilla charged. Gorosaurus and Battra watched as their enemy came in closer. Godzilla roared at them as he continued to run. He swung at Battra. Gorosaurus stopped his tail in his jaws. Godzilla roared in pain and tried to swing his tail again, but Battra was helping Gorosaurus. He grew angry and got both of them off with his atomic shockwave. Battra and Gorosaurus flew threw the air. The giant dinosaur smashed into Tokyo Tower. The great spire collapsed on top of the injured saurian. Only his head and tail were visible. He tried to stand up again, until he felt a staggering amount of pressure bearing down on his chest. Godzilla had him pinned to the ground with his foot. Godzilla opened his mouth, trying to intimidate Gorosaurus with the light in his mouth. Gorosaurus flinched. Godzilla almost attacked, until Battra knocked the massive monstrosity to the ground. He still unleashed the blast; only this time, he aimed for Battra. Battra didn’t see Godzilla’s attack until it was too late. Battra’s flesh began to burn and deteriorate, until nothing but a transparent version of him remained. “Battra’s soul!” Yuri cried. “What’s it doing?” Captain Haro asked. Battra’s soul was opening a wormhole into what seemed like another dimension or another world. Then, his soul broke apart and flew into Gorosaurs’ body. The massive monster felt empowered. He whipped Godzilla across the feet with his tail, causing the evil reptile to trip. Godzilla roared in anger and bit Gorosaurus’ arm. The victim of the attack roared in agony as blood flooded from his arm. Suddenly, two black cables wrapped around Godzilla’s arms. Godzilla roared in shock and released Gorosaurus. “What’s happening, General?” Haro asked. “Something from that other world must be pulling Godzilla in!” the military leader replied. The cables pulled Godzilla down. He stood up again. This time, two more cables wrapped around Godzilla’s neck and tail. He blasted the cables, trying to sever them and free himself. The blasts were totally ineffective. The cables held. Next, Godzilla activated his atomic shockwave, but this was ineffective as well. “He can’t escape! We’re saved!” Yuri cried. “Yes, but look!” Commander Hiroshi interrupted. “Godzilla grabbed Gorosaurus by the neck. Gorosaurus gasped for air. “No! He’s pulling Gorosaurus in, too!” Yuri said in despair. The cables continued to pull. Godzilla knew he couldn’t fight the cables, so he gave up. But he didn’t want to go down alone, so he took Gorosaurus with him. The two reptiles fought as they were pulled in. The portal closed when they were completely enveloped, sealing their fate.
“Gorosaurus…” Yuri said to herself inside her house. “It wasn’t just Gorosaurus, Yuri. It was Manda and Battra. Especially Battra. He paid the ultimate price to save us and stop Godzilla.” Takeda said. “Takeda’s right, you know.” Said General Tachibana. “Well, all that really matters now is that Godzilla will never torment Japan or any other country on Earth again. He is in another dimension with Gorosaurus.” Yuri finished.

Tokyo was a burning wasteland after the battle between Godzilla, Manda, Battra, and Gorosaurus. Nothing of the fight was left. The JSDF had lost the majority of their units, as did the JASDF. But, the city would be rebuilt, just like Yokohama. But, something began to stir. A very thin beam of light appeared from the same spot that the wormhole had appeared. Then, Godzilla’s roar was heard. The wormhole began to open gradually again…
