The SS American, a large cruise ship in the Pacific Ocean
For years now two great terrors lay dormant by the west American coast. They bided their time, healing their wounds and plotting their return to life. One of these terrors was now finished healing. It swam in the water, searching for its next victims. Its head poked out of the water as it spied a great ship, carrying thousands of ready servants. The monster sank beneath the waves and swam towards the boat, his six rows of teeth flashing in a grisly grin.
The partying people didn't suspect a thing until it was too late. A gargantuan head burst from the water and roared at them. Its two bull-like horns gave it a demonic look. The passengers screamed as it released a large, purple ray upon the deck. The ray felt like melting Jell-O, at least until it began to eat through their skin. Their bodies twisted and convulsed as the virus-filled spray engulfed their bodies. One by one they mutated into large, ogre-like monsters. The passengers looked at the demonic sea creature that had transformed them and bowed their heads with reverence. The monster laughed with pleasure at his new, loyal army.
OVDG had returned.
Four more years had passed since the alien invasion. Japan and America had joined forces, combining their resources to create several super weapons to protect themselves from giant monster attacks. Japan had acquired a gargantuan space robot, whose technology and parts had been used to create four giant robots, one cyborg, and four super-powered jet planes to protect their pacific coast from attack. America was given their technology and used it to advance MechaTyrantis and the SKELETONs. They were also able to create an entire bunker of spare MechaTyrantis parts for quick repairs during times of crisis. The Mecha wing of the Daikaiju defense department was stronger than ever.
Dr. Lerna's wing was also improved, with one more kaiju-holding tank in addition to the original three and four new kaiju for each one. Lerna had really outdone himself in the monster-creating department.
Three of the other kaiju hailed from lakes around the world. One was Nessie, a blue plesiosaur-like animal from Loch Ness. The famous sea serpent had two long beige "horns" on its head, which were actually her nostrils. The horns allowed her to breathe without being seen, since they extended far above her head. Her long tail was tipped with a sharp fin, which doubled as a weapon and a form of propulsion. Her mouth was equipped with hyena-like bone crushing jaws.
Ogopogo, the second of the lake kaiju, was a gigantic black and white sea-adapted serpent. Its head was horse-like in its shape, though that is a very loose comparison. Two nostrils rested on the top of its snout. Its mouth was lined with needle shaped teeth. Its two large, serpentine eyes seemed to burn with malevolence, despite the fact that it was quite tame.
The third monster, a charcoal gray eel, was Tessie. His mouth was filled with yellow, crooked fangs. On top of his head was a strange, glowing bump. A tendril extended from his bump and glowed as well. In fact, if seen from far away the bump looked very much like the most famous picture of the Loch Ness Monster (and also one of the most famous hoaxes known).
But the fourth monster was the most powerful of them all. After Tyrantis and Armadon had destroyed the Chimera queen, several samples of the monster's flesh had been found. Dr. Lerna had been experimenting with it and finally made a controllable monster from her DNA. He named the beast Bellerophan after the hero who defeated the Chimera in Greek mythology. The creature looked much like the Chimera Queen; his body was like that of a fur-covered serpent with two great horns on his head. He had two pairs of lizard-like legs and a pair of bat-like wings. His tail wasn't tipped with the stinger like the other Chimeras. Instead he had spikes running down his back, with a rather large one on his tail tip. The monster was exceptionally agile, intelligent, and strong.
The combined might of all these anti-daikaiju weapons was the envy of almost every country in the known world. Consequently, the known world was now being flooded with giant monster attacks. A trio of large, green dinosaurs with finned ears was attacking London. In Copenhagen a green dragon-like monster that spat acid was running amok. A gargantuan red cobra and a giant bat besieged Paris. In Australia a group of flying, parrot faced dinosaur monsters terrorized the great outback. A monstrous lizard that had last been seen in 1998 in New York was attacking Africa. A gigantic mutated earthworm and a bizarre squid/dinosaur hybrid trashed Siberia. It seemed that a group of giant monsters attacked country after country, and each one was demanding assistance from America and Japan. Sadly neither country could afford to lend their monsters to the poor souls, at least not as long as their monsters still lived.
To top it all off, a huge cruise ship had gone missing. It was found with all of its passengers and crew missing. The only trace of life on the ship was the massive amounts of dead OVDG that encrusted the ship. The Museum of Kaijuology was distressed at that news. If OVDG returned, they'd be in big trouble. The fact that the passengers were missing was a bad omen as well, since that could mean that they were infected with the OVDG virus. That would mean thousands and thousands of gigantic monsters at OVDG's beck and call.
In a small district of the newly rebuilt San Fransisco, a dark shadow blocked out the sun. People looked up at the shadow and screamed with fear. The maker of the shadow was a chimera drone, the first of many. A swarm of flying, fur-covered serpents was entering the city. The swooped down and devoured the citizens hungrily. Panicked screams and hungry roars filled the air on the coast as the Daikaiju Museum swiftly jumped into action. Bellerophan was released into the air while the three lake monsters were sent into the ocean via underground tunnels. The SKELETON crew began to prepare MechaTyrantis for battle as the new pilot jumped into his seat.
Bellerophan cooed and jumped into the air, slashing at the creatures that would be his bretheren without a care. The bodies of the chimera drones fell to the streets while they writhed in agony; each suffered a painful mortal wound. In the sea the three lake monsters quickly went to work, snatching their opponents out of the air and devouring them. The bay's natural inhabitants, the giant octopuses, joined the sea serpents in destroying the invaders. The battle seemed to be going well and soon there didn't seem to be a need for the robot monsters at all. But that changed when a new dark shape appeared on the horizon. The Chimera queen was approaching!
Bellerophan snarled and flew towards the great queen, tearing everything that tried to stop him into shreds. The serpentine monster grew closer and closer to his target. The Chimera Queen barred her teeth and extended her retractable claws. Bellerophan finally reached her, swiping at her body with his claws. She howled in pain and quickly grabbed Bellerophan with her largest pair of arms. She used her bee arms to scratch at her opponent while her goat legs pummeled his body mercilessly. Her tail had moved behind Bellerophan. In one swift thrust the stinger penetrated his back and injected the Queen's deadly venom which canceled out most regenerative powers. Bellerophan gasped in pain and looked at the queen. She smiled, baring her gigantic teeth. With a hiss and one stroke she tore Bellerophan's body in two, dropping the corpse to the street in a rain of mutant blood.
The queen cackled malevolently and began her rampage. She landed on the ground and slashed at the buildings with her great tail. She slithered down the streets and kicked at all she saw with her powerful legs. Then she took to the skies again, leveling the city with the beats of her mammoth wings. With a cackle she flew higher into the sky and dive-bombed one of the city's markets.
Her rampage was cut short by a roar she knew all too well. The Chimera Queen looked around for Tyrantis, the monster that had uttered the roar the last time she heard it. Finally she spotted the terrifying sound's origin: MechaTyrantis. The cyborg roared again as its cannons began to glow. It was no longer wearing its super armor since it was still being tested, but the robot could still pack a punch. Two shining spheres of energy formed at its cannons' mouths. With a third roar the mechanical kaiju unleashed two beams of energy at the Chimera Queen. Some of the drones tried to stop the blast but were incinerated in the process. The queen screeched and tried to escape. One of her legs and a section of her tail were struck by the beams and fell to the ground. Horribly wounded and missing her primary weapon, the Queen ordered a retreat. The swarm followed her as she swiftly departed. The SKELETONs during their retreat struck down several, but the battle was over. San Fransisco was safe for another day.
However, it was a bittersweet victory. Dr. Lerna wept at the sight of Bellerophan's mangled corpse. The scientist struggled to regain control over his emotions as an idea sprang into his head.
"Get him to the Mech. room!" the doctor shouted. The SKELETON robots lifted the corpse into the room and followed Dr. Lerna's orders. "Remove his tail, arms- err, arm, and head from his body!" The Samurai SKELETON did this with relative ease. "Good. Now bring down one of the spare MechaTyrantis bodies. That's good. All right, switch the positions of the arm sockets with the leg sockets. Now put his right arm in the right socket and one of the Super MechaTyrantis robot arms in the other. Attach the head to the head socket and the tail to the tail socket. All right, now put implant of the computer brain enhancers in his head.. That looks good."
Dr. Lerna looked at the new cyborg. It was functional, and luckily most of the robot parts were interchangeable. However, Bellerophan's wings could never carry such a cumbersome metal body. Lerna looked around for something he could use. Then he saw SKELETON 7, Thanatos. Thanatos had a large pair of mechanical wings capable of lifting its own body and those of the other SKELETONs off of the ground. The doctor smiled and gave one last command. "Put two of the spare SKELETON 7 wings on him and we'll be ready for round two."
These tasks were done with great haste, and in less than a half-hour Mecha Bellerophan was ready for his first test-drive. The pilot of SKELETON 7 jumped in the new cyborg's cockpit and started up the beast. Bellerophan yawned as though he had been awoken from a great sleep and gave a startled yelp at the sight of his new body. He flexed his new mechanical claws and looked at his shining metal wings with awe. Unlike MechaTyrantis, who had first viewed his metal body with contempt and disgust, Bellerophan seemed to enjoy his new body. The hanger door opened as the pilot said, "Let's go get that bitch." MechaBellerophan cooed in agreement.
The new cyborg shot out of the building like a rocket, with MechaTyrantis and the lake monsters following close behind. The cyborg dinosaur looked at his new mechanical ally with curiosity. MechaTyrantis had never seen another being like him until now. He bellowed at the newcomer. MechaBellerophan's head turned and smiled at MechaTyrantis, roaring in reply. MechaTyrantis roared back; if his face could smile it would have. They flew towards the setting sun, following the smell of the wounded Chimera Queen.
Chimera Queen was headed to an uninhabited island that she and her children had taken over after she fought Armadon and Tyrantis. After Armadon and Tyrantis destroyed her body till it was only a skeleton, it landed on a Russian nuclear submarine that had crashed into the seabed while spying on San Fransisco. The nuclear power gave her atomic cells extra strength, allowing her bones to regenerate her flesh. Her memory had been wiped clean, but her wicked personality hadn't. The queen conquered the small island and began to build her hive. The attack on San Fransisco wasn't planned; she just picked a direction and sent the swarm to it. Now the great queen had a vendetta against the city. She would return after her wounds healed and then there'd be hell to pay.
When she finally reached her island home a terrifying sight met her eyes. The island was in shambles; the honeycomb structures her children had made were in pieces. Mangled corpses of her children lay on the ground. A large, black sail appeared over one of the hills and revealed the culprit. One colossal reached up from under the sail, lifting the body beneath it up as well. A tyrannosaur-like head looked over the hill, two gigantic bullhorns sticking out from each side. The monster barred its six rows of teeth with a low, evil chuckle. OVDG had destroyed the chimera hive! The Queen hissed with fury at the undead fiend as her drones surrounded her, ready to strike down the villain. They gasped in surprise as a thousand ogres joined OVDG at the top of the mountain. There had been more of them, but the chimera drones that had remained on the island had put up a good fight. Chimera Queen roared and led her army into battle.
The Anti-Daikaiju Defense Force arrived minutes later to see the gruesome spectacle. Mortally wounded chimera drones fell to the earth while swarmed ogres were torn to shreds. OVDG and Chimera Queen were locked in mortal combat, and OVDG was winning! MechaTyrantis looked at MechaBellerophan and nodded. The cyborg blasted their way through the armies towards the two leaders. MechaBellerophan tackled Chimera Queen while MechaTyrantis took down OVDG. The lake monsters, acting on instinct, attacked the OVDG ogres instead of the Chimera drones.
MechaBellerophan pummeled Chimera Queen's face. The he dug his metal hand into her arm, charging up the maser cannon that lay within it. A beam of charged particle tore off her arm and made a huge, gaping hole in her wing. The queen hissed in agony and fell into the sea, writhing in pain. MechaBellerophan gave her time to catch her breath, flying towards her while charging another beam.
OVDG wanted to destroy MechaTyrantis, but he didn't want to do it now. The undead monster had a plan, and part of that plan was destroying the Chimera Queen. To destroy MechaTyrantis now would take more energy and time than he could afford to lose. With one strong blow he knocked the cyborg away. He roared as his spine began to glow. Suddenly two extra sails shot out of his back, forming a pair of wings. The monster jumped into the air and glide to Chimera Queen. He slashed MechaBellerophan's back just as the cyborg was about to make a finishing blow. The robot's back exploded and sent him veering away from OVDG's prey. The Queen had been given a short amount of time to heal, but it was all she needed. Her leg and tail were back, except for her stinger. She hissed at the fiend and continued the fight they had started.
MechaTyrantis had gotten back on his feet just as MechaBellerophan was wounded. The sight of his ally's defeat had stirred up sorrow in his mechanical heart. The fallen cyborg had befriended MechaTyrantis, something few creatures had done. The mechanical dinosaur flew after his fallen ally. MechaBellerophan's body was plummeting into the ocean; his pilot had safely ejected only to be crushed by Chimera Queen. MechaTyrantis dove into the water after him, extending his mechanical arms (the only Super MechaTyrantis parts that MechaTyrantis still used). He flew out of the water with MechaBellerophan in his arms and headed back to San Fransisco.
The lake monsters noticed that their allies had gone and were no longer in sight. Confused and scared, they swam away from the battle. A voice entered their heads.
"Follow my voice, sons of Dr. Lerna. Come to the Island of Tyrantis. That is where you shall find sanctuary," the voice told them. The sea serpents followed its instructions and headed in the direction that the voice had come from, leaving the chimeras alone to fight a losing battle against OVDG's forces.
MechaBellerophan was rushed into repairs. He was given a second maser cannon arm and a mechanical, super maser lazer tail. His wings were repaired and the Super MechaTyrantis helmet was placed upon his damaged head. Bellerophan was more of a machine than a kaiju, but he was alive and that was the most important thing. Dr. Lerna jumped into MechaBellerophan's cockpit and headed to the place OVDG would strike next: Tyrantis's island.
OVDG arrived on Tyrantis's island by following the lake monsters. Two mutated ceratosaurs and one mutated allosaur were there to greet him. The monster smiled and opened his mouth, revealing all of his horrible teeth. He grabbed the allosaur in his jaws and swallowed it whole. The ceratosaurs screamed in terror and ran with OVDG in quick pursuit. Spinalsaur heard their screams. The crocodile-like dinosaur ran to their aid, roaring at OVDG in a menacing way. The bullhorned monster looked back at his challenger and snarled. OVDG charged Spinalsaur and flipped him into the air. When the mutant dinosaur landed OVDG opened his jaws and prepared to take a bite. However, two rays of blue fire that emanated from the ceratosaur monsters stopped his attack. The tiny monsters may not have been strong enough to defeat OVDG on their own, but they could buy Spinalsaur some time. Their savior stood up and bit OVDG's left leg.
By now the battle had drawn the attention of the whole island. The island's gigantic inhabitants came one by one, not knowing what to do. Many had not seen OVDG or fought him, so they didn't know whether to help the new monster or help Spinalsaur, who was generally antisocial. Finally Gwangi arrived, marking the appearance of a spectator who knew OVDG from firsthand experience. The blue dinosaur roared and joined Spinalsaur in combat. The other monsters followed, creating a battle so large that everyone on the island heard it.
OVDG wanted this to happen. The monster roared to his army who sprang out of the water and joined him in combat. He roared and grabbed another of the island's residents, a juvenile Tyrantis, and devoured it. When he realized what he had devoured, he chuckled.
All of the island's monsters, with the exception of Tyrantis, his wife, and Kraydi, were participating in the battle. King Croc witnessed OVDG's cruel act of infanticide. The crocodile boiled with rage and sprang at OVDG, tearing the monster's throat. The villain laughed some more, striking down the small reptile with one blow. He opened his hideous maw and prepared to devour his hapless foe until a loud roar interrupted the ruckus. Tyrantis stepped into the melee with his wife, a monster that was even larger than he was! The female Tyrantis lacked Tyrantis's distinctive horns, but she made up for it in her intimidating size. The female bellowed at her children, knowing that they had entered the fray. Kongamatu, another witness to OVDG's recent cruel acts, told Tyrantis of the death of his child. Tyrantis and his wife roared louder than any other monster and ran towards OVDG.
OVDG commanded his army to gather around him. He devoured them one by one as Tyrantis made his way down the hill. When the Tyrantises reached him there wasn't a living ogre left in sight. The grotesque undead monster was laughing maniacally. His body began to grow in size in what looked like a painful process. His tiny hind legs also grew in size until they were able to support his gigantic body. Armored scales grew on OVDG's belly and neck, both of which had swollen like the rest of his hideous form. The monster's head grew more horns and bony plating, and his disgusting mouth was now so large and filled with teeth that it couldn't close all the way. His massive forearms grew even larger until they were able to reach the ground while OVDG was standing up. The monster's tail tip exploded, and from the wound a pink, fleshy second head looked at the world. Super OVDG had been born.
The undead demon grabbed Tyrantis with one massive hand and crushed the dinosaur kings' body. Super OVDG bit Tyrantis's body then grabbed his tail. He raised Tyrantis above his head and smashed the dinosaur's head on a large rock repeatedly until a loud crack emanated from his thick skull. OVDG threw the dinosaur king's corpse into the sea with a chuckle.
The monsters watched the hideous spectacle, stunned by the monster's atrocious acts. Tyrantis's wife was the first to snap out of the sorrow-filled trance and into the fight, leaping at OVDG and tearing into his mammoth neck. OVDG chuckled and threw her off. The wound didn't heal, but instead it grew. The red and pink flesh turned into tentacles, each tipped with an ugly, scale-less head. Super OVDG laughed and began to fight his attackers off. Gwangi charged him and was knocked away. Kongamatu was sent veering over the mountainside. Kraydi managed to bombard OVDG with psychic blasts only to be hit by the unconscious body of King Croc. Super OVDG seemed unstoppable.
Tyrantis was dreaming. Well, at least it seemed like a dream. His mind definitely wasn't in his body. Everything was dark with the exception of the bright light that covered his dream-made body. Then six familiar forms appeared from the darkness. The feathered serpent Quetzoalcoatyl, the great sea serpent Leviathan, the red dragon Smowg, and their companions, Sasbaso, Vespa, and Drako were surrounding Tyrantis.
The feathered serpent spoke to Tyrantis in a soft, gentle voice, "Brother, dragon of fire, you are dying."
"But the power of creation says it is not your time yet," the booming voice of Leviathan spoke next.
"So we have come to heal your withered form," Smowg hissed. The red dragon still seemed to dislike Tyrantis.
Quetzoalcoatyl nodded to Vespa, who took one of the feathered serpent's wing feathers and gave it to Tyrantis. "This will heal your body and give you wings to fly," Quetzoalcoatyl cooed.
Leviathan grunted at Drako who gave Tyrantis a bit of the sea serpent's seaweed. "This will strengthen your armor and allow you to breath underwater," Leviathan boomed in a friendly, if loud, way. They waited for Smowg to give his gift, but the dragon would not. Leviathan smacked him upside the head with his tail, forcing the dragon to take action.
"Fine! Here, take these precious stones. They will strengthen your armor and your claws," the dragon hissed with contempt for his brothers.
"Farewell Tyrantis, great dragon of fire," Quetzoalcoatyl said as he and his companions began to fade away. "Destroy your foe!"
Tyrantis's real eyes opened. Had he really visited the land of the dead? Was it a dream? Tyrantis looked at his tiny hands to see a feather, a piece of seaweed, and semiprecious stones clutched in his claws. His eyes narrowed as he stood back up and headed back to dry land and his home.
Super OVDG had defeated half of the island's inhabitants. Kongamatu, Kraydi, King Croc, Gwangi, Yeti, Rhedosaurus, and Tyrantis's wife lay unconscious on the ground. MechaTyrantis had arrived while Tyrantis was dead and now lay in a crumpled heap on the ground. The ogre seemed unstoppable.
MechaBellerophan didn't give up though. The cyborg persisted in the fight, allying himself with Spinalsaur, Mokele Mbembe, and the two allosaurs that remained alive. The other small monsters had fled the battle on Kraydi's command. Mokele whipped Super OVDG with his tail, snapping the fiend's neck. The burgundy sauropod stood on its hind legs and pummeled OVDG with his forelegs, breaking the monster's ribs. OVDG was undaunted by this; his ribs healed instantly as did his snapped neck. With one blow the monster knocked out Mokele went on to his next target: Spinalsaur. MechaBellerophan knew that Spinalsaur could hold his own for a short amount of time, and that was all the cyborg needed to charge up his cannons. Spinalsaur leaped onto Super OVDG, scratching and biting the monster's left flank. The wounds he inflicted turned into hideous tentacles which threw off the brown dinosaur. Spinalsaur hooted in surprise as he fell to the ground. OVDG looked at him and roared, punching the reptile's head and knocking him out. MechaBellerophan unleashed his maser lazers at Super OVDG who was knocked back by the blow. Sadly, it was not nearly a fatal blow. Super OVDG stood back up with thousands of hideous, blood soaked tentacles writhing and hissing. The monster marched slowly towards MechaBellerophan, laughing and hissing at the cyborg.
A badly damaged Chimera Queen entered the battle scene and chirped in surprise to see both of her archenemies on the island that she thought would be a safe haven. She looked at both of the monsters, trying to decide which would be easier to defeat. With a screech she flew at MechaBellerophan, carrying the robot monster out to sea and away from OVDG.
With all of his foes defeated, OVDG began to feast. He sniffed at Yeti's body and decided to eat it first. The monster was just about to devour the unconscious ape when a familiar roar challenged him. Super OVDG's head swiveled around to see an angry Tyrantis holding some strange objects. OVDG grunted something that probably meant, "I thought I killed you."
Tyrantis roared again and the objects disappeared. Tyrantis's body became a golden color as two mammoth, golden wings sprouted from his back. The dinosaur's eyes turned red. His arms grew longer and stronger until they looked like Smowg's. The third horn over each of his eyes grew longer until they resembled the two horns on Quetzoalcoatyl's head. A mane of seaweed grew from his neck to his tail tip, much like the mane on Leviathan. Hyper Tyrantis had been born.
The golden monster looked at his fallen friends, then at OVDG. He snarled and flew into the air, dive-bombing the grotesque villain with unmatched might. OVDG lifted his mighty right arm to punch Hyper Tyrantis, but the golden monster simply held out his hand and blocked the blow. The force of the punch reflected off of Tyrantis's hand and back to OVDG, shattering the fiend's arm. OVDG wailed in pain, but Tyrantis was apathetic. The golden monster kicked OVDG's lower jaw with so much force that it shattered into a million pieces, and to the monster's surprise it didn't regenerate. Hyper Tyrantis pummeled Super OVDG, cracking bones with every blow. He bit OVDG's hide and injected fire into the wound, blowing Super OVDG's unbroken arm off of his body.
Deciding that the battle had to be finished once and for all, Hyper Tyrantis lifted Super OVDG's gargantuan body off the ground and flew into the sea. The golden monster's mouth glowed with a bright read light as he unleashed a beam that was even stronger than the inferno blast he used on Smowg. The beam engulfed OVDG's body and evaporated the water around them. OVDG's scream of agony was cut off seconds after the demon had uttered it. When the steam and light caused by Hyper Tyrantis's beam faded, nothing was left of Super OVDG except for a scorched crater. Hyper Tyrantis stood in the hole he made in the sea for a moment and then flew out, allowing the water to fill the hole again.
Hyper Tyrantis flew back to his island and, in a flash of light, became normal again. He didn't have wings, nor did his body have a gold glow. Everything was back to normal. Tyrantis lied down next to his sleeping wife as tears welled up in his eyes. His son was dead, and there was nothing he could do to bring him back. But a least he had saved the others from a similar fate. It was a hollow victory, but a victory still.
MechaBellerophan's arms were damaged, and the Chimera Queen was regenerating her wounds by the second. Her tail's stinger had finally been healed, and with one sharp stab she broke the life supporting machinery in MechaBellerophan's body. The cyborg felt his life slipping and realized that he would soon be dead again. However, he could still keep Chimera from destroying the world. He ejected Dr. Lerna despite the scientist's protests and grabbed Chimera Queen's flesh with his metal claws. He used his maser lazer tail to tear through Chimera Queen's wings, sending them both plummeting to the sea bellow. True, her wings would eventually regenerate, but the water and his metal covered corpse would keep her from flying away. The ocean would be their prison and tomb for all eternity. MechaBellerophan closed his eyes and felt his life ebb out just as he hit the cold, hard waves.
Dr. Lerna flew by Tyrantis's Island while on route to San Fransisco. A mangled MechaTyrantis, barely able to sustain flight, followed him. They watched Tyrantis and his wife feed their three remaining children while Kongamatu soared through the skies. They saw King Croc bringing dead whales and other large sea animals up the shore for the other monsters to devour. For the most part the monsters were happy. It was the same case for Hydra and his bretheren in the Rocky Mountains; they were undisturbed and loving their lives. This gave Lerna an idea. It seemed that no matter how many kaiju were destroyed, more were always springing up. However, if they could take all the kaiju and put them on an island with plenty of room and food, maybe there wouldn't be a need to destroy them! They could guard the island with the entire world's most powerful weapons, just in case the kaiju tried to escape. It would be called Monster Island. Lerna decided this was a good idea and that, when he returned to American soil, he'd propose it to the world.
Tyrantis's greatest story was over. He would fight more battles in the future, but those are other stories.
