After many months and not even being able to pick up a new figure at G-Fest XV, today I've added to my collection in a big, big way. This past week I purchased the Bandai Resurrection Godzilla from the 1996 Godzilla Forever series of reissued figures. One of the most sought after Bandais of all, the "Glitter Godzilla" as it is known is a representation of how Godzilla looked in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II after Fire Rodan sacrificed himself to save the dying Godzilla. The figure is in mint condition and still has a ton of glitter on it (some gradually lose their glitter over time). Definatly a great addition to my collection (I couldn't put it down for like a half hour after I took it out of its package, heh).
Next up, I also received my Far East Monsters King Ghidorah from the DAM Battlezone series in the mail around the same time as the Glitter Godzilla and let me tell you that this is one fantastic figurine. Incredibly detailed, massive, and perfectly in-sync with the Godzilla figurine. I absolutely love this figurine and cannot wait until the next figurines come out so I can be one step closer to completing my DAM Battlezone. I highly recommend that any G-Fans out there that haven't, pick up one of these incredible figurines before they're all gone. Huge thanks to Tom and Bill of Far East Monsters for bringing us this fantastic set. Click the links below for pictures!
