Mr. Okamoto, who was only 112 cm tall, chose wrestling as his career and made his ring debut in 1976 as "Little Frankie" and became a popular midget wrestler, appearing in opening cards and at women's wrestling matches. However, in 1994, Mr. Okamoto was hired as an actor for Toho's latest Godzilla film, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, in which he took on the role of Little Godzilla, the next stage of Baby Godzilla's growth. After the film, Little Frankie returned to wrestling and did so until August 15, 2002, when the 44 year-old collapsed and died at the dormitory of the All-Japan Women's Wrestling Association. He will be missed.
