| Don “The Predator” Frye, born on November 23, 1965 in Sierra Vista, Arizona, is an All-American wrestler who has fought in Ultimate Fighting Championship, Pride, K-1, pro boxing, and pro wrestling. He has fought basically his whole life and aside from being an accomplished wrestler, he also has a black belt in Judo. Don Frye began his career at UFC #8 in 1996 and actually defeated three fighters in that single night. He would go on to battle and defeat such great UFC fighters as Ken Shamrock, Tank Abbott, Mark Hall, and Yoshihiro Takayama before moving overseas to Pride, a Japanese fighting organization, and now dominates the Heavyweight division over there. Thanks to his tough style of wrestling/fighting, Don Frye has gained a near perfect fighting record, only having lost two matches. In 2004, he was contacted by “Godzilla: Final Wars” director Ryuhei Kitamura/Toho Studios and asked to play the role of Gotengo (Atragon) Captain Douglas Gordon. Don Frye gladly accepted and appeared in the film, having a major role and along with the Xilien leader Kazuki Kitamura, basically stole the show. | |
