History
When Godzilla returned in 1999, the Japanese government knew that none of their conventional weapons would be able to do little more than slow the Monster King down. So in an effort to finally rid the world of Godzilla’s threat the JSDF developed the Full Metal Missiles. These missiles were able to pierce through Godzilla’s extremely tough hide and would then explode underneath the skin, inflicting a large amount of damage. And as Godzilla headed inland to attack a nuclear power plant, the JSDF set up a defense line against the kaiju, the Full Metal Missile Launchers along with Type 74 Tanks and F-15 Eagle jets attacked Godzilla. The tanks and jets did little to slow Godzilla, but the Full Metal Missiles did manage to pierce his hide and explode, sending chunks of Godzilla’s radioactive flesh flying in every direction. But as all of the JSDF’s other weapons, they only managed to slow Godzilla’s advance as his regeneration powers healed his wounds instantly.
