| MOGERA was created in 1994 as G-Force's newest robotic creation to fight Godzilla after MechaGodzilla was destroyed. MOGERA (Mobile Operation Godzilla Expert Robot Aero-type) was instead diverted to battle SpaceGodzilla in the asteroid belt, where space kaiju temporarily defeated him and sent him spiraling off into space. After returning to Earth, MOGERA was repaired and fitted with new weapons. Now under the control of a new crew, MOGERA was again sent out to battle SpaceGodzilla, this time in Fukuoka where the space kaiju had erected himself a crystal fortress in the city. However, MOGERA’s new commander, Akira Yuki, disobeyed his orders and went after Godzilla, who was also on his way to confront SpaceGodzilla. After a brief attack on Godzilla, the other members of his crew, Koji Shinjo and Kiyoshi Sato, overpowered Yuki and took control of the robotic kaiju, steering it back toward Fukuoka. There, MOGERA and Godzilla fought side by side against SpaceGodzilla, where the robotic kaiju actually managed to shatter both of the space kaiju’s energy-channeling shoulder crystals with its spiral grenade missiles. However, SpaceGodzilla then turned his attention from Godzilla and attacked MOGERA in a blind rage, beating the robotic kaiju so badly that it exploded due to the damage it received. Godzilla then overloaded SpaceGodzilla with his own radioactive energy, causing the space kaiju to explode and ending his threat. | |
