In Gamera's final stage of "growth", as seen in 1999’s “Gamera 3”, he took on more of an overall snapping turtle look. His head was slightly smaller than before and much meaner looking with a slight beak, like a snapping turtle. The frill on his head was enlarged a bit more, while his feet and shell were made smaller and the suit actor no longer had to lean so far forward. The eyes were smaller than before and really looked mean now, the neck was also reduced in size a bit. The elbow claws had also moved up to just about his wrists. The tail also seemed a bit shorter and the fingers lost their webbed look. The color scheme for this Gamera took on an even darker shade of green while the shell became a bit lighter in color.
