Synopsis
Unlike the first Godzilla Generations game, in Godzilla Generations: Maximum Impact, you don't get to wander aimlessly destroying the city. Instead, Godzilla has a set path he follows, while what you do is control his aiming receptacle and the strength of his radioactive heat ray. You do this throughout the gave while destroying building and combating the military while making your way to the monster boss at the end of each level. The monster battles are the second part of the game, what’s cool is that the battles follow the path of the films from Godzilla vs. Biollante through Godzilla vs. Destroyer. During these battle Godzilla stands still and you move him from side to side, using the receptacle to target the boss. It may be simple, but it is still fun.
Controls
As I wrote before, you control Godzilla’s heat ray and when a target crosses into the receptacle (monster, helicopter, tanks, etc.), it gets a red crosshair on it and once this happens, you just unleash Godzilla's heat ray to destroy the target. You can also make Godzilla duck and dodge attacks by holding or tapping the analog pad. In the normal city levels, these targets include tanks, helicopters, jets, and monster attacks.
My Opinion
I can’t really give you my opinion or rating on this game because I’ve never actually had a chance to play it. All I’ve been able to see are screenshots and gather information on it.
