The second version of the Godzilla suit (Gyakushu-Goji), used in the film “Godzilla Raids Again”, was very similar to the first version, but much lighter. Also, the suit was slimmed down to actually fit the actor within, adding more mobility and comfort to Mr. Nakajima’s performance. This really came in handy during his battles with Anguirus, played by Katsumi Tezuka. The suit still sported tiny ears on the sides of the head and four toes on each foot. This version's dorsal fins were even more jagged and irregular than in 1954, but still featured teeth distinguished by visible fangs. Also, the irises of the eyes were enlarged and no longer had their "beady" look.
