| The AH-1S Helicopters were one of the two types of aircraft that attacked Godzilla when he returned in 1999, along with the F-15 Eagle Jets. With their fast, agile flight, great maneuverability, and wide range of weapons, the AH-1S Helicopters were one of the most effective weapons the JSDF used on the Monster King as he headed for a nuclear power plant. They flew in and attacked Godzilla quickly, hitting him fast and hard, driving him toward the JSDF’s main defense line, dozens of Type 74 Tanks and Full Metal Missile Launchers who were lying in wait. This tactic was successful, Godzilla was lured to the tanks and attacked by the full might of the JSDF’s defense line, but with little effect to Godzilla. | |
