| An actor who's career started out roughly at the same time as Haruo Nakajima's, Shoichi Hirose starred alongside Mr. Nakajima in the 1954 Toho film "The Seven Samuri". From there he went on to star in many other films, including films of the Godzilla series where he starred as both monster and human actor. Playing the likes of King King in King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962) and King Ghidorah in both Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster (1964) and Godzilla vs. Monster Zero (1965). He also played minor roles like that of one of the escaping convicts who cause the oil refinery to explode in Godzilla Raids Again (1955) and a Red Bamboo Officer in Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster (1966). He also played several roles outside the Godzilla series. | |
