1997... 3 years after Godzilla's last assault on Japan and 3 years of peace and harmony, until... A gang of teenagers were vandalizing and stealing people's cars and driving them into Biwa Lake. This paticular gang was known for causing trouble in Nagoya and Kyoto. Once they started lighting cars on fire and watch them explode, huge flaming asteroids came crashing into the lake. When the meteor shower ended they got into their stolen canoes and rafts and went out to check things out.
"Did you see the size of that!" One of the girls exclaimed.
"Oh my, 'great balls of fire'!" Her boyfriend yelled. Then the water started bubbling and some huge object arose from the quiet lake. The reflection of the moon disappeared as the huge creature sped towards the canoes. All of the sudden, the water around the canoes froze, and tentacles slammed the canoes killing all of the gang members out on the lake.
The same phenomenon occurred at Yokohama. A large meteor shower went into the sea and caused huge waves and made the water steam. A police boat went out to see if anyone had been hurt, but were pulled under by a huge crab like claw.
The last time this happened was at Tokyo, a large fishing boat was rising out of the water by what looked like a giant turtle shell.
Back at Biwa Lake, every time a boat went out it was found in pieces and no bodies were ever found. Special forces were sent to investigate. They stayed on the beach and kept watch, but even after two weeks there was nothing. Just when they were going to head back they noticed a low flying plane, they tried to reach it with the radio but something floated to the top of the lake. They saw a beak arise, that was connected to long tentacles and a large head. The beak opened up and started shooting out a strange mist. The plane got caught in the mist and slowed down. The soldiers looked at it with binoculars. The windows fogged then shattered, then the whole plane grew frost and ice on it. The frozen plane then crashed into the lake. The beak then shot the mist into the air, when the mist hit the water the lake froze instantly.
Back in Yokohama, special jets flew over the ocean, ordered to attack anything unusual. They found exactly what they were looking for. What looked like a giant lobster was speeding towards land. All the jets dropped bombs onto the giant creature, but with no effect. The monster then submerged again.
Finally in Tokyo, the giant turtle shell sat motionless. The boat which was stuck was left, but the people on were carefully taken off. After hearing about what happened at Biwa Lake and Yokohama, charges were set on the shell and detonated the next day.
"Are you sure all the charges are set?" One of the soldiers asked.
"Set and ready to go." Another replied. When the charges were set off, flames shot into the air and smoke surrounded the objects original spot. When the smoke cleared, the object was unharmed and even submerged beneath the water.
"Yuki, I need you to go with the demolition squad to destroy whatever's hiding in Biwa Lake, people's lives could be in danger." General Kenji said to Yuki Kobayashi.
"Yes, sir!" Yuki replied. Yuki was 22 years and had joined the Ministry of Defense, one year after Godzilla had fought Angilas in Osaka. Infact, Osaka was still under repairs. General Kenji was 60 years old and very grumpy. Infact his stress made his hair go gray.
Yuki was on the plane that was heading for Kyoto. She had fallen asleep and had a very strange dream. She was in the plane, but somehow the front half of the plane fell off, all the people sitting there went flying through the sky. She was one of the ones who went flying. She closed her eyes, ready to die when out of nowhere she stopped. She was on the back of a huge hairy insect. It was giant moth. It chirped loudly and two small girls, about an inch tall, and they said,
"Don't be afraid, Mothra will protect you." She awoke when someone shook her. She grabbed her gun and ran out with the other soldiers. They all drove to Biwa Lake. They all set up grenade launchers and rocket launchers. Everyone loaded their weapons and pointed them out at the frozen lake. First the men with the grenade launchers shot. The grenades rolled over the icy lake. When the exploded, chunks of ice went flying everywhere. Then moltov cocktails were heaved onto the ice. Suddenly a giant creature burst through the ice. It was some kind of giant squid. It shrieked loudly and everyone squinted at the high pitched noise. Everyone fired the weapons, but it didn't affect the monster at all, so the tanks and missile launchers opened fire onto the monster. It shrieked again and started spraying mist again. Everything the mist touched froze instantly. Some soldiers were frozen solid. All the remaining soldiers ran for their lives.
Yuki ran through the woods and began to fill drowsy. She all of a sudden fainted and tripped over a tree root. When she awoke, the two small girls from her dream were looking down at her from a branch.
"You've been knocked out for several hours." They both said at the same time. "It's a natural reaction to Gezora's ice mist. Even if it doesn't hit you, it causes dizziness." Yuki had just noticed her open jaw and popped some gum in. She then moved her fingers through her long black hair. The two small girls giggled.
"Who are you?" Yuki asked.
"We are the Defenders of the Earth,also known as the Cosmos." They replied. "Mothra is the one that keeps Earth's balance."
"Hey! Wait, you two were in my dream."
"Yes we were, we used our powers, because we need your help. I am Luna." The one in the orange dress said, "I am Kendra." The one with the blue dress said. "There are two problems that your planet faces now. The three Yog Monsters, they traveled to Earth in the meteor showers. The second and worse problem is that Godzilla will return soon."
"Godzilla? That's impossible." Yuki said with awe.
"The missile used on Godzilla didn't work. His healing power revived him, Mothra can help, but cannot stop all four of these monsters. That's why we need you. You must take us to the Ministry of Defense."
"Kameba, Gezora, and Ganime? This sounds ridiculous." General Kenji replied to Yuki.
"It's true." Yuki then opened up a kennel and the cosmos stepped out. They bowed to the General. The General gasped.
"Are they real?"
"Yes we are." The Cosmos replied. "Kameba is a giant turtle, that's the monster at Tokyo, Ganime is the giant lobster at Yokohama, and Gezora is the giant squid at Kyoto. If these monsters meet they will fight to the death, and if Godzilla arrives too, the whole world could be destroyed."
Yuki looked at the General in the eyes.
"Let's see what we can do." Kenji said.
Gezora was now on land and was dragging itself towards Kyoto. Luckily the squid wasn't too fast on land. The squid knocked over trees and crushed cars and other vehicles. When the monster was about two miles from the city, tanks came rolling in, as soon as Gezora came in sight the tanks opened fire. The squid shrieked and shot out it's ice mist. Some chunks of the monster went flying through the forest. Some soldiers were hit and yelled as the blood touched them, because the blood was as cold as Antarctica weather.
Ganime had also hit land and was making it's way through Yokohama. It was met with giant napalm. Steam arose from the creature's body, it also had icy cold blood. The giant lobster swiped it's claw at the jets above it's head. It caught one in it's claw and crushed it.
Kameba was on land and roared as it was also met with a tank bombardment. When it was close enough to the tanks, it extended it's neck out and crushed them with it's snapping jaws. Kameba made it's way slowly through Tokyo and towards the other two monsters.
Yuki was dropped off at Mothra's home, Infant Island. The twin cosmos lead Yuki to a giant egg.
"Where's Mothra?" Yuki asked.
"She died several years ago, and now her child will hatch soon, to protect the planet again." The Cosmos replied. "It should be hatched by tomorrow. Mothra can stay alive for thousands of years, and when he's at full power he is unbeatable. Mothra used to battle evil all the time thousands of years ago, but soon Mothra was unchallenged so she just lived here, until the end of her days."
"How will Mothra be reborn after this one? Since it's not a female?" Yuki asked.
"It's sister egg is buried underground, and will hatch when her brother hatches."
Kameba had reached the countryside when it ran into Ganime. Kameba roared at it's challenger. Ganime quickly went over to Kameba and grabbed him in his huge claws. Kameba stretched his neck out and bit onto Ganime's other claw, they both tried to get out of each other's grasp but rolled around for a while. The military rolled in with all their weapons. They opened fire onto the raging battle.
Gezora had gone into the ocean and was speeding towards Tokyo. Meanwhile back at Infant Island, Mothra's egg started cracking and wriggling. Suddenly, a giant caterpillar type creature burst from the egg, it shrieked and started crawling towards the ocean. Once it got into the water, another catepillar burst from the ground and followed it's brother.
As the military waited at Tokyo bay for Gezora to arrive, they saw the water rise and start heading towards land.
"Gezora is heading this way!" One of the soldiers yelled into his radio. Everyone readied their weapons. It wasn't what they expected it to be, spines slowly rose out of the water, and then Godzilla emerged from the water. He roared loudly and angrily and made his way to land. Everyone retreated for they were not equipped to fight Godzilla. Before Godzilla made it to land he was pulled under. Dumbfounded by this attack, and saw that it was a giant squid. He grabbed onto one of the tentacles and ripped it out, blue liquid came flowing out, the water began to freeze. Godzilla tried to swim for the surface, but Gezora wrapped more tentacles around Godzilla and brought him to the bottom. Godzilla began beating on Gezora's head and biting onto his tentacles, Godzilla's mouth was filled with freezing cold blood. Godzilla kicked his way off Gezora. When he reached the surface he quickly got onto land. Godzilla then powered up and fired his blue beam into the water, he sat there for about five minutes, steam went across the surface of the ocean. Godzilla waited then turned and started walking towards the battle field.
Both Mothra's had hit land and were also on their way to fight. They crawled through the city trying to cause little damage. Yuki was speeding in her jeep, following both the Mothras. They all stopped when they saw Godzilla stealing radiation from the rebuilt nuclear reactor. Most of it was shut down before Godzilla got to it, but Godzilla got just enough radiation into his body. He then continued.
Kameba was laying on top of Ganime, the spikes on his shell stuck into Ganime. Ganime shrieked in pain. Godzilla then entered the battle field. He roared at both the fighters. Godzilla looked ready to fight. Next to show up were both Mothras. They both watched before they made an attempt to attack. Kameba got off Ganime and started at Godzilla. Kameba shot his head out to try and tear out Godzilla's throat, but Godzilla grabbed onto Kameba's head. Godzilla then lifted Kameba into the air and started swinging him around. Godzilla then let go and Kameba went flying into the forest. Gezora suddenly appeared. He started spraying his ice mist at Godzilla. Godzilla cried out in pain. Kameba suddenly attacked Gezora. He bit onto on of the tentacles and sunk his jaws in. The icy blood didn't affect Kameba at all. Both Mothras saw their chance to attack so they started spraying some kind of silk at Ganime. Ganime shrieked loudly. Godzilla's spines began to glow bright blue. He fired it into the back of Kameba's shell. Kameba felt the heat and roared out in pain.
Ganime tore through his cocoon prison and crawled back to the ocean. Gezora snuck back to the ocean as Godzilla and Ganime fought. Godzilla bit into Kameba's arm and ice blood shot into his face. Godzilla cried into pain as his face grew ice on it. Kameba then escaped back to the sea. Godzilla's head grew an intense pain and he fainted. Both Mothras then started spraying silk onto Godzilla's unconscious body. Eventually Godzilla was stuck in a cocoon.
Chapter 2 – Godzilla’s Power
Yuki took some samples of Kameba's shell that been blasted by Godzilla's energy beam. She took it back to base and analyzed it. It was radioactive so she had to wear a special suit. After many tests and observations she discovered that Godzilla's energy was made up of nuclear energy and that the energy from reactors gave him extra power.
Both Mothras had just entered Tokyo they made it to Tokyo Tower and started shooting silk into the sky. Eventually they were both cocooned. Tanks and other artillery had surrounded Tokyo Tower. The military was ready to attack whenever it was necessary.
The three Yog monsters were scattered all over the world. Kameba was seen at New York City. Gezora was spotted at Paris, France. Ganime was hiding in the waters near Hong Kong, and Godzilla was still cocooned. All the countries were on guard against any attack these monsters attempted to make. Kameba was now attacking New York City. Everyone screamed and scattered through the streets. Kameba shot his head out knocking over huge skyscrapers. Helicopters came soaring in firing missiles and gatling guns. Kameba then hid in his shell and sat there in the streets of New York.
Gezora had crawled onto land and started destroying everything in Paris. When Gezora got to the Eiffel Tower it opened it's beak and sprayed out it's ice mist. The tower froze and icicles hung from it. Gezora then continued it's way through the city.
Back in Hong Kong, Ganime was causing it's own problems. It ate people, crushed people, and smashed them with it's huge claws. Jets flew overhead dropped bombs onto Ganime. Ganime made a shrill shriek and toppled a building over with one of it's claws.
"These monsters are making their way back to Japan, we can't afford another attack." General Kenji said. "What can we do?"
"Once both Mothras become adults they should be able to defeat the four monsters." Luna said.
"But it wont be easy, even when both are at full strength. Godzilla must not be allowed to absorb anymore nuclear energy."
All three monsters were closing in on Japan at great speed, but they all met up with a blockade of ships. Ganime was the first to be attacked. Once it submerged, it was bombarded with missiles and bombs. It shrieked loudly and dove under the water. Suddenly it's huge claw arose from the sea and slammed into one of the ships. It then pushed it into the other ships and continued doing this until all the ships were all crashed together.
Back at Tokyo Tower, the cocoons began to crack open. Two large moth like creatures arose from their hibernation. They both chirped and flew away. When they flew there was a strange whistling sound plus the flapping of their wings. They both flew to Godzilla. When they arrived, Godzilla had torn out of his cocoon. He roared in anger and frustration. Suddenly the male Mothra slammed into Godzilla. Godzilla cried out in surprise. When he got up the female slammed into him, knocking him back down. Godzilla got up again, and before the male could hit him he grabbed onto him. He slammed Mothra onto the ground and began stomping on him. Mothra cried to his sister in distress. Yuki watched the battle with the other troops. Suddenly an all too familiar shriek was heard and Ganime came crawling in, along with Gezora and Kameba. The battle was about to begin.
Chapter 3 - The First Battle
Godzilla roared as all the monsters charged at each other. Godzilla and Kameba tackled each other. The male Mothra fought with Gezora and the female Mothra fought Ganime. Godzilla started pounding on Kameba's head. Kameba cried out in pain as he started to get a major headache. Kameba quickly stretched out his head and bit into Godzilla's arm. Godzilla cried out as Kameba's fangs sunk into his flesh. To release his arm he grabbed onto the back of Kameba's head and squeezed his claws into Kameba. Kameba let go and cried out a long painful roar.
Mothra flew over Gezora dodging his ice mist. Gezora tried to get a hold of Mothra with one of it's tentacles, but Mothra easily dodged it. All of a sudden Mothra started flapping his wings at high speed, yellow powder started coming off his wings and onto Gezora. Gezora cried out as the powder began poisoning it. Although blinded, Gezora whipped out a tentacle and it wrapped around Mothra's neck. Mothra screeched out in distress and got pulled down. Gezora began spraying its ice mist, then wrapped more tentacles around Mothra, it cried to its sister in pain and agony.
Mothra quickly flew over to say her brother, but Gezora whipped its tentacle and hit Mothra hard. Suddenly Kameba went flying into her, Mothra cried out in surprise. Godzilla roared and started walking towards Kameba, and got hit by Gezora's ice mist by accident. Godzilla turned and roared at Gezora. Gezora dropped Mothra and went for Godzilla. Gezora was lifted off the ground so it wrapped its tentacles around Godzilla. Godzilla bit into one of the tentacles,and freezing blood poured into his mouth. Enraged,Godzilla threw Gezora off. Gezora made a high pitched gurgling sound. Godzilla's spines began to glow bright blue, steam and blue flames spat from his mouth. Gezora gurgled again, but was cut short when Godzilla fired a high powered atomic blast. Gezora was hit on the beak, and it's skin started peeling off. Suddenly, large amounts of steam arose when Gezora started oozing it's ice cold blood. When Godzilla was finished, Gezora was roasted in a huge explosion which ended into a mushroom cloud. Godzilla roared in victory as black smoke arose from Gezora's burning corpse.
Mothra landed next to her brother and chirped to him slowly. Her brother slowly looked to her, her huge blue bug eyes looked into his green. Mothra slowly lowered his head, and the lights in his eyes went out. She chirped and cried out as her brother lay there dead. Godzilla looked at the two with a confused look in his eyes, when suddenly he felt a sharp pain go from his ankle and into his hip, he looked down and saw Kameba sinking his long razor sharp teeth into his ankle. Godzilla roared at Kameba and grabbed onto the back of his neck and stuck his claws into the back of Kameba's head. Kameba let go roaring a high pitched roar of pain. Godzilla lifted Kameba's left up and his claws went in further, his fingers even went into Kameba. Kameba's eyes rolled into his head and he threw Kameba back down. Kameba's nerves started shivering and he tried to get up again. Godzilla grunted and began stomping on Kameba's neck. Finally, Kameba's ice blood was pouring out of his jaws and he finally dropped his head down.
Chapter 4 – The End of the Yog Monsters
Godzilla moved Kameba with his foot to see if he was alive, but there was no sign of life. Godzilla growled and gave a quick roar and turned to Ganime. Ganime wasn't going to run away, it was going to fight for it's life. It crawled towards Godzilla and closed one claw on his neck and the other on his left leg. Ganime screeched and pulled Godzilla to the ground. Godzilla roared in fury and grabbed onto Ganime's whiskers. Godzilla yanked them all out along with Ganime's icy blood. Ganime screeched so loud that it would shatter glass. Godzilla shoved his arm into Ganime's stomach, and let out a high pitched cry of agony as the icy blood poured onto him. Godzilla quickly threw Ganime off, and stood up. Ganime was wriggling like a fish, and suddenly steam arose from the icy blood on Godzilla,he powered up and fired an atomic blast that blew Ganime to pieces. Godzilla roared another roar of victory and turned to Mothra. Godzilla tilted his head and then turned and started heading towards Tokyo.
"Oh no! Tokyo will be destroyed!" Yuki said aloud.
"Mothra will fight him." Kendra and Luna said together.
Mothra took off and slammed into Godzilla, Godzilla did a summersault into the forest. He grunted and got back to his feet. Mothra slammed into his head, knocking him back on the trees. When Godzilla got back to his feet, Mothra was speeding back towards Godzilla. He whirled around and smacked her into the ground with his tail. Mothra tried to take flight again, but she was getting smashed into the ground more by Godzilla. On about his 10th time slamming Mothra,a shockwave erupted from her Mothra. Godzilla was knocked forward. He quickly got back up and turned to Mothra. Mothra was back in the air again. She chirped and started flapping her wings, which made strong winds. Godzilla tried his best to stay on his feet. Mothra flapped as fast as she could. Godzilla was trying to run at her, but running against wind wasn't easy.
Yuki gathered up the Cosmos and put them in her pocket. She quickly got into her jeep and took off.
"There has to be somewhere safer to watch the battle from." Yuki said. "Does Mothra stand a chance?"
"Yes, actually. Mothra has extraordinarily powerful attacks." Luna and Kendra said.
As Mothra flapped her wings, yellow powder began to fly off at Godzilla. Godzilla cried out in pain and put his hands onto his eyes.
"What's that she's doing?" Yuki asked the Cosmos.
"It's poisonous powder." Kendra said.
"It should burn his flesh and eyes." Luna said. "Just watch."
Godzilla fell to the ground and tried to get the powder off him, but it just hurt his hands. Godzilla's tail was swinging all over the place, almost hitting Mothra. Seeing a good chance, Mothra grabbed onto Godzilla's tails with her small legs. Godzilla tried to get up, but Mothra started pulling Godzilla off. When she let go Godzilla was almost completely blind. When he got up, his spines began to glow a bright blue. He quickly turned and fired his atomic blast at Mothra. She reared up and got hit in the stomach. She chirped rapidly as she was blasted to the ground.
Chapter 5 – Mothra’s Hidden Power
There was no explosion. Mothra was on her back and moving very slowly, she wasn't burned away. She didn't even explode. Godzilla turned away and started his way to Tokyo.
Yuki watched as Mothra lay there motionless.
"Is Mothra dead?" Yuki asked the twins.
"Not yet." The Cosmos replied.
As Mothra lay there,she twitched every few seconds. Suddenly, her brother began to glow bright blue, gold orbs began to come out of his body and into his sister's, as the orbs went into his sister, he slowly faded away and had disappeared. She began to move again, she chirped and flapped her wings until she was on her legs. She continued flapping her wings and she flew into the air. Yuki watched Mothra flying towards Tokyo after Godzilla.
Everyone ran as Godzilla entered the city. Waiting for Godzilla, was a large amount of helicopters. They all then started launching missiles at Godzilla. Godzilla roared and advanced onto the blockade of helicopters. They all fired missiles and gatling guns. Godzilla saw the helicopters go behind a tall skyscraper so he fired his blast into it, knocking it over. Some helicopters were smashed by the huge structure. Godzilla's roar echoed through the entire city. Followed by his roar, was Mothra's chirp. Godzilla was surprised to see Mothra so healthy again. She flew above Godzilla and sent out another shockwave. Godzilla let out a high pitched roar and fell into a mini-mall. She then began hovering over Godzilla. She began to flap her wings and rub her legs together. The yellow powder slowly fell onto Godzilla. Electrical type bolts, that were the color blue started shooting out of her wings onto Godzilla.
Yuki sped into the streets of Tokyo to watch the battle.
"What's she doing now?" Yuki asked.
"She is using her power to stun Godzilla." The Cosmos replied. "Soon, Godzilla will not be able to move."
Godzilla looked up and fired his radioactive wave into Mothra, she was hit, but yet again there was no damage.
"Mothra's skin and small fur can protect her from blasts like Godzilla's." Luna said.
"It still can cause a big distraction." Kendra explained.
Mothra's colorful body began to glow bright gold, and more electrical bolts shot into Godzilla. She then flew away, the bolts were bringing Godzilla along with her. Mothra flew high above the city so that no more damage could be made. Godzilla roared in protest against Mothra.
Once Mothra was hovering over the ocean, the bolts disappeared and Godzilla went dropping into the sea. Godzilla was roaring his high pitched roar the whole way. He smacked hard into the water, and immediately Mothra began dropping golden orbs into the ocean. The area that Godzilla had hit, began to glow bright gold. There was no sign of Godzilla.
Chapter 6 – A Happy Ending
Yuki looked out at the ocean. She was surprised to see that Godzilla didn't emerge again. She smiled to the Cosmos. They smiled back.
"Thank you, my friend." The Cosmos said. All of a sudden they fused into a golden orb and floated up to Mothra. Mothra looked down at Yuki and chirped happily. Then she turned and flew away. Yuki waved and thanked them quietly in her head.
