| When Godzilla returned in 1999, the JSDF’s F-15J Jets were deployed to engage Godzilla as he headed for a nuclear power plant. As ground forces blasted Godzilla with full metal missiles and tank fire as the jets came in from the air, attacking Godzilla from all sides with their sidewinder and air-to-air missiles. The F-15J Jets then streaked skyward and disappeared into the clouds before Godzilla could attack them with his radioactive heat ray. | |
