When King Ghidorah returned for the Godzilla Heisei series in 1991’s “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah”, he had a pretty similar design to the original. However, instead of hair where the heads and necks meet, there was now a halo of horns. The faces were longer, their features changed a bit, and looked a bit more dragon-like. However, the heads were a bit too oversized and the necks a bit too skinny. Other than that, the three-headed dragon basically remained the same in appearance and was played by suit actor Hurricane Ryu.
