History
To combat the Destroyah threat and Godzilla’s impending meltdown, in 1995, the JSDF decided to upgrade their Maser Cannons by adding an extreme-low temperature laser to the weapon instead of an energy ray. Along with the new freeze laser, the tanks were equipped with freeze missiles. The DAG-MB96 Maser Cannons first engaged the Juvenile Destroyah which were attacking downtown Tokyo, using their freeze laser and freeze missiles to tear through the waves of crustacean kaiju. However, the victory was short lived as the Juvenile Destroyah soon merged into the Aggregate and Flying form Destroyah, laying waste to all the man-made forces that get in his way. The JSDF and G-Force military vehicles then backed off until Godzilla and the final form Destroyah were locked in battle, firing on Destroyah as he tried to escape and killing him. They then had to turn their weapons on Godzilla, who was going into meltdown, but they were unable to stop the meltdown with their freeze weapons. However, the near-death Godzilla Junior absorbed the radioactivity from his dying father and became the new Godzilla.
