History
The Missile Launcher Trucks were introduced to the JSDF in the mid-50s and were instantly sent into action against the latest kaiju threat, Godzilla and Anguirus. These weapons were deployed against these two monsters as they fought in Osaka, showering the mutated dinosaurs with dozens of deadly missiles with little effect. Now proven useless against the monsters Godzilla and Anguirus, the Missile Launcher Trucks were recalled until the Rodans appeared in 1956, attacking the twin monsters once they landed on solid ground. However, once again these machines proved to be ineffective against the mutated pteranodons, as well as the robotic kaiju Moguera and the amphibious kaiju Varan, who would appear to terrorize Japan in the next two years. After this, the machines were declared not fit for kaiju combat, but were later called to battle when the Xians and the Nebula M Space Hunter aliens tried to take over the Earth.
