Mogera returned to the big screen and entered the Godzilla series in 1994’s “Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla”. This new Mogera is very different from the original. While retaining the main aspects of the original Moguera’s look like the drill nose, cone hands, and glowing yellow eyes, the body design and color had to be changed to more match that of the previous G-Force robotic kaiju, MechaGodzilla. This version, portrayed by suit actor Wataru Fukuda, was much more streamline than the original, and colored blue/metallic gray. The cone hands could split open to reveal new weapons, the head was smaller than the original, and the chest/hips were widened out. What's interesting about this version is that it could transform into the Star Falcon and Land Mogera, but I believe that this was accomplished through a smaller prop that could separate in the middle.
