The new Mothra adult marionette, used for 2001’s “GMK: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack”, looks to me like they combined the original version with the Eternal Mothra version and added some new twists to it. The biggest differences were the new legs given to the marionette. Instead of being furry and chicken-clawed, they were now longer and more insect-like. The eyes have a more prominent compound look to them and the antennae are sleeker and “feathery”. The wings of the marionette had a new, more realistic color pattern to them and seem a bit smaller than before. This time around, Mothra also had wasp-like stinger, which I think is kinda weird cause I've never heard of a moth having a stinger. For the film, some of Mothra’s flight was accomplished through CGI at times and wire work at other times, both of which looked pretty good on screen.
