For 2004’s "Godzilla: Final Wars", the popular Mothra adult marionette used for the previous film, "Godzilla X Mothra X MechaGodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S." was brought back and given just small changes to the hair and the color of the wings for the new film. Aside from that, the Mothra marionette went basically untouched from GMM: Tokyo S.O.S. into GFW, although in the final product, she just didn’t look quite as good as she did in Tokyo S.O.S. CGI was once again integrated with the live action shots to make Mothra look more realistic than in films prior to 2003. Mothra's wings were still very colorful and her body realistically hairy. The legs continued to look long and insect-like and the antennae were still long and hairy. Her eyes continued to look great as well.
