The third version of the Mothra adult marionette, dubbed Mothra Leo and featured in 1996’s “Rebirth of Mothra”, was completely different from the first two. Since Mothra was now drawing her energy from Earth's plant life, a green color was added to Mothra's wings as well as her eyes. The shape of the wings were changed and a whole new color pattern was added to the body and wings of Mothra. The body was now a white color with black/light blue areas and the fur extended all the way down to the claw-like feet of each of the six legs, which were yellow. Overall, this gave Mothra Leo a very “plush toy” kind of look. The body also seemed a bit thinner than the past Mothra incarnations and the antennae appeared larger and feathery. The wings had a lot of black color in them this time along with the mentioned green color, as well as some yellow and red.
