In the last film of the Mothra trilogy, 1998’s “Rebirth of Mothra III”, Mothra was changed yet again. In this version, the marionette was covered in a metallic body armor and dubbed Armor Mothra. The armor was a silvery metallic color with red “war part” on the thorax. The wings were armored to and had a new color pattern with orange, blue, and red highlights. The armor itself also had several blue highlights and the helmet on Armor Mothra’s head seemed very Jet Jaguar-like. The legs were not visible as they were covered by the armor along with everything else and the armor on the abdomen appeared segmented.
