When this version of King Ghidorah was first seen, many said that this is how King Ghidorah should have looked in “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah”, and I can definitely agree with that. This “Grand” King Ghidorah, seen in 1998’s “Rebirth of Mothra III”, preserves the greatness of the original design while still giving it a new twist. The faces are incredibly sculpted and very evil looking and the wings of the suit move much more gracefully than ever before. Other than that and the new, elongated head horns, Ghidorah retained his classic look. All things that were wrong with the 1991 version were fixed in this version.
