| After 1962’s King Kong vs. Godzilla was such a huge success at the box office (the highest grossing Godzilla film ever), Toho originally wanted to continue this successful formula for their films and make another movie that once again pitted the two monsters against one another. Shinichi Sekizawa penned a rough draft for this idea, but the whole concept of this film was ultimately thrown out for reasons unknown. | |
