8/5/10: It's back... today I posted a new MI Comic to the Monster Island Funnies section. Also, I am looking to start up the KWF again. However, I have no time to write the PPVs on a monthly basis, so I have an offer for all you site fans. If anyone would like to write KWF PPVs (one per month or perhaps bi-monthly), please submit your PPVs (continuing from the last one, KWF Resurrection), to my e-mail at the top of this page. The best submission will be chosen and that person will be given full credit for writing the PPV on the site and will be added to the site contributors page that I hope to have made soon. I am looking for good writing, continuity, lengthy battles, and humor between the announcers, as well as a similar format to how the PPVs were done previously. Good luck!

7/6/10: The kaiju of the month for July, Orga, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. G-Fest is this weekend, should have lots of nice updates for the rest of the month after attending!
6/10/10: The kaiju of the month for June, Rodan (Showa), is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. There has also been another update by Jean to Vinylmaddness... "Spotlight on the Pao Burning Godzilla model kit can be found on the top of the menu on the main page." Finally, there's some news on the hotel / session locations for this year's G-Fest. Here's the main scoop, but please vistit G-Fan.com for full details...
"Due to unprecedented demand, sessions for this year’s G-FEST have been relocated to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. It is located across the street from the convention hotels (the Rosemont and the Doubletree), and connected to both hotels by an enclosed skywalk. Individual hotel reservations and parking arrangements are not affected by the move."
5/17/10: Update by Jean to Vinylmaddness... "Better late than never. Not only did I do a review of the Bandai Creation 12" Gigan, but I updated the "Complete Bandai Creation" page with pictures of the newest figures for the Wave 5 Series. Check for link on top of menu."
5/6/10: The kaiju of the month for May, Destroyah, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. So not much has changed obviously, still not adding much to the site. No new news on the Legendary Pictures Godzilla 2012 film and no additional G-Fest news, but Kaiju HeadQuarters did turn 11 years old this month! Woohoo!
4/9/10: Updated the G-Fest section today with the following film information from my good friend Jeff Horne...
"If you can’t get enough big screen kaiju action, G-FEST is once again sponsoring a one day mini film festival at the Pickwick Theater. Four movies: Son of Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992), Godzilla 2000 Millennium, and Godzilla X Megaguirus; will be shown on Thursday, July 8th, 2010, one pair in the afternoon and one pair in the evening. This is in addition to our regular Friday and Saturday night features, which will be Godzilla (1954) introduced by Akira Takarada on Friday night and Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster on Saturday night!"
4/6/10: The kaiju of the month for April, Ebirah 1966, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. I apologize for the lack of updates in the last month. Unfortunately I had to experience the death of a very close family member during that time and just did not have the time or the will to make updates to the site (minus the Legendary Pictures Godzilla announcement of course). Hopefully things will get back on track soon though, so stay tuned.

3/2/10: The kaiju of the month for March, Gorosaurus, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section.
2/16/10: Today I added some new Kaiju Toy News to that section concerning some upcoming giant monster figures from Revoltech! I also added some information to the Kaiju Multimedia News section about the upcoming releases of the Showa Gamera series on DVD and Armand Vaquer's "The Monster Movie Fans Guide to Japan". Finally, I have added several large photos to the Behind the Scenes section via G-Fan Magazine. They can be found in the Terror of MechaGodzilla sub-section.
2/8/10: The hotel for this year's G-Fest XVII has been announced! 2/1/10: Well, it's finally here. Today my website combines with Jean Carbajal's website, Vinylmaddness. Jean's website, for those who may not know, contains a ton of great information and reviews about Godzilla collectibles. It is an incredible resource for anyone who enjoys collecting Godzilla figures. This is a great day and I believe that this merger will benefit both sites.
Also, the kaiju of the month for February, Hedorah, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section and I have added a couple of items to my Figures for Sale page. Enjoy!
1/14/10: Today I added some new Kaiju Toy News to that section thanks to Jeff from Long Island Treasures reguarding this year's American Greetings / Carlton Cards Godzilla ornament and a sale on last year's ornament. Check it out, the site merger is nearing completion!
1/5/10: The kaiju of the month for January, Titanosaurus, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. Also, it has been confirmed that Godzilla Showa series actor Akira Takarada will be this year's special guest at G-Fest (no news on the hotel yet though). Finally, there will be an announcement soon right here at KaijuHQ.org concerning another site merging with us. Stay tuned!

11/20/09: Today I added two new fan fics to the Kaiju Fan Fiction section. The first is called Godzilla: Sins of the Fathers by Forrest M. The second is from regular contributor Miguel Craig and is called Gonzilla Against Armaggeddon. I also added several more new individual images of my own figures to the Bandai area of the My Collection section. Check them out and more to come! 11/3/09: This month's first update falls on the birthdate of Godzilla (the date when Gojira was released in theaters in Japan, 11/3/1954). So Happy 55th Birthday Godzilla! The kaiju of the month for November, Anguirus (1955-1974), is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. I have a couple more updates coming soon as well, hope everyone had a great Halloween over this past weekend!

Also, I've noticed and corrected some errors on the site lately (hey, I'm only human) so if you notice any information errors or spelling issues or whatever else, please e-mail me via the link on the top of this page and let me know about it. 8/1/09: The kaiju of the month for August, The Millennian, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. Also, I added a link to a new, very original kaiju website by Christopher Ell to my Links page. It's called Monster Climber and it tells the ongoing adventures of Dr. Dirk Halverstram, an adventurer/scientist who climbs giant monsters in the name of science and adventure. The story also unfolds daily via Twitter at a different url (http://www.twitter.com/monsterclimber) with recaps on the main site as well as other fun features that will updated regularly. Enjoy!
7/30/09: Added the three past G-Fests that I hadn't posted yet to the My G-Fest History section. They are: My G-Fest XII, My G-Fest XV, and My G-Fest XVI. The pages are just the basics right now with dead links to the contests, but I will be adding those areas over time.

7/18/09: As you probably noticed on your way to this site updates section, the main page of the site has several new graphics on it all created by Stephanie Hughes aka Goji Girl. They look great and a huge thanks to her for all the time and work she put into them. I'll also be re-doing the links to the different sections on the main page, getting rid of some dead links and adding others into the mix, so stay tuned! Also, don't forget to check out my My G-Fest XVI Experience & Photos, plus I'll have some more photos from my pal Andy Shields to post soon too!

7/7/09: Well, I'm back from G-Fest XVI and what a fun time it was! Big thanks to JD Lees and all the convention organizers / volunteers for putting on yet another great show. I will get a "My G-Fest Experience" page up for it soon, but for now I need a few days to recooperate and return to work. However, to tide you all over, the kaiju of the month for July, King Seesar 2004, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section.

5/29/09: G-Fan.com has finally announced the films for this year's G-Fest XVI. The films will be shown, as usual, at the Pickwick Theater on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 10:30 PM. These films will be GMK (Thurs), The Mysterians (Fri), and Mothra vs. Godzilla`64 (Sat). Check out the two links for G-Fan.com and G-Fest above for more information on the convention!

5/1/09: Well, today marks the ten-year anniversary of this site. That’s right; Kaiju HeadQuarters turns 10-years old today. Now while I didn’t do anything special to mark this occasion, I would just like to thank all my family, friends, fans, and site contributors for all of their support over the years, without all of you this achievement would’ve been impossible. Also thanks to visionaries like Tomoyuki Tanaka, Ishiro Honda, Eiji Tsuburaya, Willis O’Brien, Ray Harryhausen, Noriaki Yuasa, and all the rest, for without them, there would be no kaiju fandom. It’s been ten years of ups and downs and what a long, strange trip it has been. So here to another ten plus years of kaiju goodness and to kick it off, the kaiju of the month for May, Kamakiras 2004, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section! Enjoy!

Now I have to apologize once again for the lack of updates on the site lately, just a lot of both business and personal obligations / issues lately. 1/13/09: Alright, finally time to premiere my new section and pages for the site. Now as a featured link on the main page, the new section is called Monster Multimedia and contains links to four sections dealing with kaiju media outside of the films. Those sections thus far being TV Shows, Comics, Books, and the already existing Video Games page. There are some things on each page (TV Shows especially), but everything is still a work in progress, I just wanted to premiere what was available now. Hope everyone enjoys it!

6/20/08: Today I posted information in the Kaiju Toy News section about the next upcoming addition to the Far East Monsters DAM Battlezone, Rodan & Mothra! I also added even more kaiju profiles submitted to me from Ken Napper to the Kaiju Profiles section from the Australian Ultraman series. They are: Gazebo, Majaba, and Plant Bios.
6/18/08: The Australian Ultraman kaiju profiles just keep rolling in from Ken Napper, as he has submitted three more profiles for the Kaiju Profiles section. They are: Barrangas, Degunja, and Gerukadon. I have also added two new fan fics to the Kaiju Fan Fiction section by Miguel Craig, they are Gonzilla Raids Again and Gonzilla Against Deathla. Also in that same section, I have moved Miguel Craig and Ellen Samuelson's fan fics to the bottom of the page in their own areas. Enjoy!
6/16/08: More new Kaiju Profiles today! I have added both Fairy Mothra (Heisei Series) and Fairy (Mothra Series) to the Kaiju Profiles section, along with two more kaiju from the Australian-produced version of Ultraman submitted to me by Ken Napper (gorgara4888). They are Bogun and Gigasaurus. Many more Ultra kaiju are on the way, along with two new Gonzilla fan fics! So stay tuned!

5/22/08: Two more new kaiju profiles today, I added Beram and Ghogo to the Kaiju Profiles section. Also, the synopsis for all three Mothra films are now finished. Still more new profiles coming soon!
5/20/08: Thanks to a suggestion by site fan Wesley Shadrix, I have begun adding kaiju profiles for some of the smaller creatures appearing in the Mothra series from the late 1990s. Today I added Garu-Garu, Garu-Garu II, and Garu-Garu III to the Kaiju Profiles section. I will also be editing the synopsis for all three Mothra films, so they will be down for a bit. More new profiles coming soon!
5/16/08: Finally got the kaiju of the month for May, Gigan (2004), up in the Kaiju of the Month section. Realized that none of the GFW kaiju versions had been done yet, so probably be doing those for the next few months. Still, feel free to send in suggestions for Kaiju of the Month so I can mix it up a bit. Already have kaiju like Garuda and Kraa submitted, but keep them coming!
5/8/08: Added another new video game to the Video Games section today, Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash for the Nintendo DS. I also added a new MI Comic submitted to me by Ben Steinmeier to the Monster Island Funnies section. Sorry, still no Kaiju of the Month yet, but check back soon!
4/30/08: Today I added a new video game to the Video Games section, it's Godzilla: Domination! for the GameBoy Advance! I also added another new fan fic to the Kaiju Fan Fiction section by Ellen Samuelson called K-2 vs. Hyper Ghidorah. Plus I posted a new picture of the Cloverfield Parasite in it's section, thanks to Wesley Shadrix for submitting it to me. Kaiju of the Month for May will be a bit late, but stay tuned for that and more! Tomorrow "Kaiju HeadQuarters" turns nine years old!

2/19/08: Today I added the film Gappa: The Triphibian Monster to the Kaiju Movies/Reviews section (thanks to fan Bill Magee for submitting the synopsis to me). Also added a new MI Comic, submitted to me by Cody Green, to the Monster Island Funnies section. Also, the counter on the title page is all screwed up, trying to fix it.
2/15/08: Just a quick update today, I posted more information in the Kaiju Toy News section, this time concerning the upcoming Cloverfield Monster toy from Hasbro Toys. 2/1/08: Welcome to Cloverfield February! The kaiju of the month for February, The Cloverfield Monster, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. Next, I added profiles for both The Cloverfield Monster and The Cloverfield Parasites to the Kaiju Profiles section and also added the synopsis and some film information for Cloverfield to the Kaiju Movies/Reviews section (huge thanks to fan Bill Magee for sending me his Cloverfield information). 1/28/08: Interesting update today, I added photos of the original DeBont Godzilla proto-type that was in the original script for Tristar's Godzilla back in 1998. Photos can be viewed in the Godzilla vs. The Gryphon area of the Unmade Kaiju Films section by scrolling down the page and clicking on the photos. Also, I added a section for Cloverfield in the Behind the Scenes section that features fan art of what certain fans thought the Cloverfield Monster looked like. Big thanks to Neo-Monster Island's Sean McGuinness for supplying the top-most photo. Still more on Cloverfield coming up, so stay tuned!

12/1/07: The kaiju of the month for December, Red King, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. I have also completed my overhall on the JSDF / Invaders section and have updated every profile with the new look. To that section I also added three new profiles for the Mysterian Dome, Mysterian Space Station, and Mysterian UFO (histories are all the same though and thanks to Billy Magee for submitting the pictures to me). So now it's onto another section to overhall, possibly the Cast / Crew section. Stay tuned!
11/28/07: Probably my last update of the month, but it's a good one! The overhall on the JSDF / Invaders section continues and I have added / fixed up the following profiles: Mysterians, Xilien Fighter, Xilien UFO, & Xilien Mothership. Also, I have added a new fan fic to the Kaiju Fan Fiction section by Ben Steinmeier called Gillas vs. Venus. 10/30/07: Today I added two new films to the Behind the Scenes section. They are Mothra and Rebirth of Mothra. All photos were submitted to me by Stephanie Hughes, so big thanks to her for sending the images in. Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween, as for me, I'm off to do some birthday stuff (although once you get into your mid twenties, birthdays just aren't as much fun anymore). Anyway, Happy Halloween!
10/23/07: Today I added two new fan fics to the Kaiju Fan Fiction section. The first is DAM: The Ultimate Remake by Jack Witt and the second is Draconic by Tim. That's all for now, but I am currently working with Ben Steinmeier on creating a new Kaiju Kingdom forums to replace the current one. So stay tuned for that!

Also, here's a bit of new information for those interested in the new "Godzilla: DAM Battlezone Series" of figures. Rodan & Mothra, Gorosaurus, and Anguirus all have a planned release date for 2008. Great news for me because I love these new figures! Finally, I have received several new fan fics lately and will be posting them ASAP!

7/9/07: Alright, my new Kaiju Multimedia News section is now up and running with a temporary link on the main page. As I said before, the section is devoted to what's going on in kaiju films, video games, and more. Also in that section, you will find two links to sections for the upcoming IMAX film, Godzilla 3D, and the upcoming Godzilla video game for the Nintendo Wii, Godzilla: Unleashed! 7/4/07: Today I posted some new Kaiju Toy News about the upcoming DAM Diorama coming out from Far East Monsters. I also added a new fan fic to the Kaiju Fan Fiction section by Ben Steinmeier. This one is called Gillas the Monitor. Finally, I once again updated and lowered some more prices of the figures in my Figures For Sale section and changed my collection Want List. I'm still working on my new Kaiju Multimedia News section, hopefully it will be up soon, just got to get ahold of a Photoshop program! Happy Fourth of July!
7/1/07: As usual yes, I know it's not the first of the month, but the update is ready now! The kaiju of the month for July, Ultraman, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section, plus Ultraman's history has finally been added to his area of the Kaiju Profiles section (thanks to kaiju fan Billy Magee for submitting Ultraman's history to me). I also added more new behind the scenes photos to the Behind the Scenes section for the films Rodan: The Flying Monster & Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla. Just scroll down to the bottom of the pages to view the new images. I also posted a new collection update in the My Collection section as well as the Collection Updates section. Finally, I am currently working on a new section for kaiju news called "Kaiju Multimedia News" which will cover news updates on kaiju films, video games, and whatever else. 12/25/06: Happy Holidays everyone, here's your Christmas update! Today I posted the synopsis and some film information for the new Gamera film, Gamera: The Brave in the Kaiju Movies/Reviews section. That same section has also been redone with the same look as the Kaiju Profiles section. 6/7/06: Today I added the latest addition to my collection, the Bandai Diecast MechaGodzilla 1975, to the My Collection section. Information on this figure can be found in my latest Collection Update. Also, my site has received an award from Paul's Opinion.com. The award can be viewed in the Warden's Section, thanks Paul! And finally, I have some sad news to report, as you may have already heard, Aaron Smith, the owner and co-founder of Monster Zero News passed away last week, he was 36. His contributions and inspirations to the kaiju fan community were great and he will not be forgotten. Please see the Monster Zero News website for more information.

4/19/06: Now we're getting back into the swing of things! Well, sort of anyway, heh. Today I added King Kong Lives to the Kaiju Movies/Reviews section (thanks to G-Fan Bill Magee for the synopsis), updated the King Kong 1976-1986 profile to reflect the info from that film, & added a profile for Lady Kong to the Kaiju Profiles section. Plus, I just realized that I still have to update several profiles in the Kaiju Profiles section with the new look. So today I changed the following profiles:

2/22/06: Today I added King Kong 1933 & King Kong 2005 to the Kaiju Movies/Reviews section. Also in the same section, I added new comments and synopsis to King Kong 1976. Comments on the films were, of course, written by me, but the synopsis for all three films were sent to me by kaiju fan Bill Magee. Big thanks to him for sending these synopsis's in!
2/8/06: I am very sad to report that the last remaining Godzilla-father, musical composer Akira Ifukube, has passed on at age 91. He died of multiple organ failure Wednesday night at a hospital in Tokyo, Japan. More information on the great man can be found by going here, Godzilla Series Composers, and more information about his death can be found at Monster Zero.

1/4/06: Well, I apologize for the lack of updates during the last month, the holidays plus college and being sick have really taken it out of me, but I'll hopefully be doing a lot more updating here in the next few weeks. 11/2/05: The kaiju of the month for November, Majin, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. I have also added a new MI Comic from Tryone4@aol.com to the Monster Island Funnies section and posted my birthday collection update in the My Collection section as well as the Collection Updates section. 10/11/05: Today I added a new area for The Mysterians to the Behind the Scenes section. Also, in the same section, I added three new photos to the bottom of the Godzilla vs. Hedorah behind the scenes area. Enjoy!
10/1/05: The kaiju of the month for October, Grand King Ghidorah, is now up in the Kaiju of the Month section. I have also begun adding new pictures to some of the profiles in the Kaiju Profiles section. Thanks to Tokyo Monsters for the use of the pictures and enjoy!
9/27/05: Just a quick little update today with more new looks for the profiles in the Kaiju Profiles section. I changed the Barugon & Showa Gamera profiles.
